Join Sketchbook Brewing Company for an enriching experience of sketching and making art friends. At this monthly sketching meetup, artists of all levels can come together to learn new sketching techniques, showcase their creations, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. The event takes place on the first Saturday of every month at Sketchbook Brewery's Evanston location at 821 Chicago Ave. From 1-2:30p, guest artists will be available to provide sketching tips, while a variety of materials will be provided for participants to use. Best of all, this event is completely free to attend and sketch! 

Sketching at Sketchbook is part of the wider First Saturday Evanston Art Events organized by Evanston Made. This self-guided exploration of Evanston's Creative Community includes various venues displaying art throughout the city. Aside from soaking in the vibrant art scene, visitors can also browse and purchase unique handmade goods, interact with small business owners, savor delicious meals, and of course, learn the art of sketching and make lasting connections with others who share the same passion. The event will be held on November 4th and December 2nd, with detailed citywide event listings available at evanstonmade.org.
