This event, taking place at the Sims Library Of Poetry in Los Angeles on October 21st, aims to honor the stories within us, transcending trauma, predefined narratives, and mere survival. As we observe Domestic Violence Awareness Month, SOLIDARITY AND STANZAS delves into the themes explored in Dr. V's powerful work, WOMXN, and Wynter Eddins' thought-provoking book, AFTERGLOW. 

Facilitated by the renowned spoken word poet, mental health therapist, educator, and award-winning author, Ravina, this workshop guides participants through a series of inspiring and reflective writing prompts. The goal is to discover and honor their authentic voices, embracing unfiltered truth and connecting through the shared experiences of survivorship. Attendees will leave this immersive creative gathering with a renewed or entirely new piece of writing, inspired by the essence of their inner selves.
