Playful, kinetic, and full of surprises, Songs of New York is an immersive interactive experience that introduces visitors to a full range of music from and about New York City, from the 1920s to the 2020s, showcasing everything from be-bop to K-pop, across genres, boroughs, and musical movements.
Songs of New York will be installed in a dedicated gallery on the Museum’s second floor in February 2025. Featuring music from 100 artists, programmed with both sound and visuals, Songs of New York reflects on topics like the subway, apartments, nightlife, and neighborhoods, toggling through acts as diverse as Susanne Vega, Tito Puente, Merle Haggard, LCD Soundsystem, Yoko Ono, Lil’ Kim, and many, many others.
The interactive experience will be paired with original photography from the MCNY collection, including works by notable photographers including Allan Tannenbaum, Joe Conzo, Fred W. McDarrah, and Janette Beckman, who captured images of NYC icons such as Blondie, LL Cool J, and the Velvet Underground that celebrate the city’s longstanding role as a place for music making and a source of inspiration for artists across the five boroughs.

Central Park is very fun. There are large lawns and many squirrels running around. You can rent bicycles and ride horse-drawn carriages in the park. It is also nice to just walk around. There is a huge children&#39;s playground not far from Columbus circle. Children from all over the world who come to New York come here to play. They can play in the sand and water, and there are slides, swings, and rockeries. It is easy to play for half a day. There are also many people playing on the lawn. Many people there like to throw frisbees. Many families come here for vacation. It doesn&#39;t get dark until about 8:30 in the summer in the United States, so it&#39;s no problem to play in the park for a whole day!

Great experience! Booking of tickets on Trip was easy-received QR codes for entrance into the museum received shortly. Skipped the queue to buy tickets at the museum. Get to go onboard the aircraft carrier and submarine for the first time! Interesting visit!

Very good Bronx Zoo, one of the must-see places in New York. I really like the facilities and garden design here. It is beautiful and friendly to watch. We didn&#39;t see many animals because it was raining.

Take the subway line 6, get off at 103St and walk towards Central Park for 10 minutes. Turn right at the end and you will find the legendary New York City Museum.
Ticket price is $20 for adults. After paying, you will be given a small square sticker to be put on your clothes.
It closes at 5 o&#39;clock, so you must grasp the visiting time
It seems that they are preparing for a banquet today. The corridor is messy. I will deduct some points for the cost performance.
