Let your body and soul connect as you dance freely to the rhythms of life. This event is all about letting go, feeling the music, and expressing yourself without limits. Come as you are and dance like nobody's watching. Immerse yourself in the energy of the music and let your SOUL FLOW through every movement. Get ready to dance your heart out and connect with like-minded souls. See you on the dance floor! This event will be outdoors on grass but if the UK weather lets us down we will move the dance indoors. Please dress accordingly and remember to bring sun screen and water! WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE? Ecstatic dance is a freeform, conscious movement practice — a space where music becomes the guide, and your body becomes the expression. There are no steps to follow, no right or wrong moves. Just rhythm, breath, and raw, authentic movement.  It’s a practice of liberation and presence — letting go of thinking and dropping into the body. As the music flows through different energies and tempos, you're invited to move however you feel — wildly, softly, grounded, expansive.  People come to ecstatic dance to:  Release stress and move through emotions Connect with themselves and others without words Celebrate life and creativity Dance like no one’s watchingThe vibe? Think of it like a movement meditation meets silent rave, minus the phones, substances, or talking — but full of intention, connection, and joy.  It’s healing, energizing, and often transformative — especially when shared in community.  ECSTATIC DANCE GUIDELINES: No photos/videos/mobile phones on the dance floor – Please mute your phones and keep out of sightNo touching – If you wish to dance with someone, please seek their permission before doing soDance BAREFOOT – Although this is highly encouraged if you wish to wear socks please feel free to do so – Just please make sure they are grip socks when dancing indoors.This is a drug/alcohol/substance free environmentRespect your fellow dancers and allow them the space and freedom to feel and process the dance how they wish – This applies to YOUR own space/freedom – Allow your body to move in whatever way it chooses. If you wish to dance with someone, please seek their permission by either a nod or a shake of the head. Please do not be offended with a no and respect their choice.No talking during the dance – You’re welcome to meet and greet other dancers and share your experiences before/after the dance
