Through the tranquil practices of forest bathing and scent creation, you'll leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and in tune with the seasonal rhythms of life.
The Event

Forest Bathing – Embracing the Solstice Energy
Led by the gentle Rosie (forest bathing guide & psychotherapist), we’ll begin with a two-hour Forest Bathing session amidst the lush summer landscape of Lauriston Castle. The solstice is a time of celebration, light, and growth, and this practise will invite you to absorb the vitality of nature, deepening your connection to the earth during this peak season. Through mindful nature connection invitations, slowing down with others and soaking in the beauty around you, you'll attune to the vibrancy of the life in its fullest expression. The experience will culminate in a tea ceremony, held outdoors, where we’ll take time to reflect and reconnect. Please come prepared for all weather, as we will be outdoors for this portion of the event.
Aromatherapy – Craft Your Own Summer Essence
After the forest session, we’ll move indoors to Lauriston Castle for a creative and soothing aromatherapy workshop led by Gill. In this workshop, you’ll create your own 10ml bespoke therapeutic perfume, infused with the fresh, uplifting scents of summer. Just as we’ve been connecting with the plants and trees around us, the essential oils we’ll use are the very essence of a wide range of plants and trees - their healing properties captured in their purest form. This connection to the natural world will flow seamlessly from the forest into your own aromatic creation, carrying the solstice energy of renewal, light, and vitality.
A light lunch will be provided indoors, before the workshop commences, offering space to reflect and connect with others.
