Sun prints, or ‘cyanotypes’ as they are sometimes known, are one of the oldest forms of photography.
We'll use a specially pre-coated paper, lay some cool objects on top and expose it to the rays of the sun.
You can use plants, feathers, lace, stencils, even your hands to make patterns. Then, just rinse your print in water and your picture will appear like magic!
Be warned, it’s mesmerising and totally addictive!
Local artist, Emma, will guide you through the process and show you how to embellish your prints once they are dry. The great thing is that we can even make sun prints when it is cloudy, we just expose them for longer.
This is a great session for families with young children to work together to make lovely artworks, or, for older children to explore the process in greater depth.
Suitability: Ages 5+
£25 per ticket - covers entry for 1 adult and 1 child. An additional child ticket can be purchased for £10 but no more than 2 children per adult permitted. 
All materials and equipment are included, as well as refreshments.
