A little bit about us: We are two friends who met over 2 years ago at a “speed-friending” event in Austin. We were both new-ish to town (Jess is originally from the UK, Shae is originally from Long Beach, CA) and we instantly connected over our passion for a no BS approach to a healthy lifestyle and resilient mindset. Over the last two years our friendship has developed into a deep bond where we inspire, support, and hold each other accountable. And enjoy LOTS OF LAUGHS! We have spent the last year trying to meet like minded women who love to have a good time and find fun events in Austin without much luck, SO… we made our own! This is NOT your average networking event. We want to bring women together to open each other’s minds & hearts, have great conversations, dive deeper than the surface level ‘who are you & what do you do’ and, make lasting friendships. Let’s get outside, move our bodies, share insights and ideas and really get to know each other! Meet us outside Manana on the corner at 9am sharp! Parking: Parking is availble on the street (free on Sunday's), there is also a paid arking garage at the end of Sandra Muraida. or you can park at Whole Foods (address: 525 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78703) & get a spot in their garage for free and walk down ( ~ 4 min walk to Sand Beach Park) Once we meet, we will share themes, topics and questions for us all to chat about during our walk. We will walk for about an hour while we get into all the things & get to know each other! We can’t wait to meet you all! Want to bring a friend? The more the merrier! Want to bring a pup? PLEASE DO! As an ordinary tourist, I thought the procedure to enter the Capitol Building was very complicated, but I didn&#39;t expect that I could enter and visit just by checking the bags I brought with me.
This building was built in 1885 and covers an area of ​​51 acres. It was designed by architect Elijah E Myer in imitation of the Capitol Building in Washington. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and was named a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
It is amazing that the passage of time has not affected its appearance and internal structure at all. It is as new as ever. Visitors can visit the government offices and have time to visit the exterior of the building to appreciate this century-old building from all angles.
