I asked at the hotel front desk which cruise ship is good for the Great Barrier Reef, and they recommended REEF MAGIC. So I reported a one-day tour of REEF MAGIC on Ctrip, and the price was basically the same as buying tickets on the spot.
I boarded the ship and went out to sea early in the morning. The weather was clear and the wind and waves were not big. There was no sign of seasickness as mentioned in the guide, but I still listened to the advice of a girl from Beijing and went to the front desk to get two free seasick pills. (ps, there are also paid ones, 3 dollars a pill).
After nearly two hours of sailing, we arrived at the REEF MAGIC pontoon (offshore platform) on Moore Reef.
On the platform, you can scuba dive, snorkel, semi-submersible and glass-bottom boat to watch marine life. The most worthwhile thing is to take a helicopter to watch the Great Barrier Reef. It is indeed very beautiful and difficult to describe in words. It is a unique scenery here and it is difficult to see it elsewhere.
Snorkeling here is still a bit challenging for me, who is basically a landlubber. Snorkeling here is completely different from snorkeling in Saipan. The water depth at the seaside of Saipan is only one meter, but here you can hardly see the bottom. Although I put on a life jacket🦺, I still felt lost and didn&#39;t dare to swim far.
ps, if you have signed up for a helicopter tour, you must register as early as possible so that you can arrange a relatively early time and facilitate the arrangement of other activities on the platform. We registered at 8:30 and arranged a flight at 12:20, which conflicted with the meal time, and also overlapped with the schedule of other activities, making the time very tight and not feeling very good.

My snorkeling trip to Mooree&rsquo;s Reef was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we set off, everything was perfectly organized and well thought out. It takes 1.5 hours by boat from the pier to reach the offshore floating platform. Many recreational activities are carried out on the floating platform, and a buffet lunch is provided. There is no time limit for snorkeling, and you can fully and freely enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery.

The aquarium is not very big, but there are many kinds of fish. It is worth a visit, especially for families with children. It is very close, right in the city center, within walking distance. There are explanations for different sessions, but they are in English, which is not very friendly to those who are not good at English. There is an animal touch area, and you can also pick them up to take pictures. The manta ray is very big and its posture in the water is very graceful; the Nemo fish is very smart. I saw the feeding interaction. Some fish were very active and rushed up to grab food directly. The largest grouper swam around and was not very interested in eating. I guess it didn&rsquo;t taste good.

The Great Barrier Reef is divided into the Inner Barrier Reef and the Outer Barrier Reef. The difference is that the Inner Barrier Reef is closer to Cairns and more people go there. However, the coral and sea scenery is far inferior to the Outer Barrier Reef. The Outer Barrier Reef is farther away from Cairns. The Moore Reef is the Outer Barrier Reef closest to Cairns. The sea water is very crystal clear, blue and clear with high visibility. The colorful coral reefs are located on the fine white sand bed on the seabed. Whether you are sitting in a helicopter overlooking the entire Great Barrier Reef or diving into the seabed to watch various tropical fish shuttle between the corals, it is a great wonder and beautiful.
