In this hands-on workshop, participants will: Craft unique double-sided soft sculpturesExplore balance in art and natureTransform recycled materials into artExperiment with wire, beads, netting, and moreThis workshop delves into the concept of balance. Under Minka Gillian's guidance, participants will learn to create texture, weight, and symmetry in double-sided sculptures while developing an understanding of sustainability through creative reuse. They'll design and assemble original artworks, present their creations to the group and reflecting on their artistic choices. All materials provided - please bring some snacks for a morning tea break.
