JAZZIN THE JUNCTION: On Saturday evenings, JazzInToronto proudly presents a brand new series featuring some of the city's finest musicians. The setting is the intimate & charming La Rev Cocina & Cantina, where the authentic Mexican cuisine is irresistible. ABOUT DEBBIE FLEMING: Multiple award winner, and former Juno Nominee, Debbie Fleming has enjoyed a very successful career as one of Toronto’s busiest session singers. She has sung hundreds of commercial jingles; added her voice to backup vocals with everyone from Anne Murray, David Clayton Thomas, Engelbert Humperdink, Alan Jackson – to Petula Clark, with whom she toured as a BG vocalist in the 80’s. Other hats Debbie wears are as a record producer, songwriter, guitarist, ukulele player, as well as a noted vocal and instrumental arranger. Debbie’s songs and arrangements have been sung by choirs throughout the world. In 2019, the SING Vocal Arts Festival awarded her the Slaight Legacy award for her contribution to vocal arts in Canada.
