Readings from Kafka’s diaries and the LRB archive, and music by Max Richter performed by James McVinnie After a sell-out performance at this year’s Hay Festival, we’re pleased to announce the second and final London date for an evening of readings and music marking the centenary of Kafka’s death. Inspired by the ways the LRB’s writers – from Alan Bennett to Patricia Lockwood, Rivka Galchen to Adam Phillips – have thought about Kafka over the years, and the publication of the first complete, uncensored English translation of his diaries. With readings by Toby Jones, who needs no introduction, interspersed with music from Max Richter’s album The Blue Notebooks – itself inspired by Kafka’s journals – performed by the celebrated organist and pianist, James McVinnie. Just announced: Julian Rhind-Tutt completes the line-up!

May you go to this millennium, the Temple of Knowledge. This is definitely a reason to go to the UK, the British Museum, you see thousands of times more than you can think. Teacher Diana&#39;s 3-hour explanation was great, thanking her professionalism for letting us see the dead artifacts lively.

After watching the Buckingham Palace changing ceremony, we arrived at Westminster Abbey. There were a lot of people in the queue, about an hour and a half before entering the church. There is a interpreter at the door, you can choose Chinese. Follow the team and the interpreter is also explained. My favorite is the Matisse-style painting window. The staff in the church is very high quality and the temperament is very good, which is awe-inspiring.

This time I brushed it twice. This time I took my family to sit together. It felt really good overlooking half of London and the Thames. The only fly in the ointment was that the weather was not good enough, and the scenery was too far from sunny and cloudy.

The Queen&#39;s favorite palace is very luxurious inside, but you are not allowed to take photos, you can only take photos outside. When I entered, I took a photo but was stopped by the staff. Knowing the daily life of the royal family, Windsor Castle is generally very quiet.
