Faces of our Community  (5 and 6 of July) Sri Lankan Kandyan dance and drumming is a vibrant expression of the island's rich cultural heritage, with origins in the royal courts of Kandy. Deeply rooted in tradition, it reflects Sri Lanka's history, spirituality, and artistic legacy. Dancers, dressed in elaborate costumes with intricate headdresses, perform with precision, using rhythmic footwork and dynamic movements to convey stories and symbolic meanings. The powerful beats of the drums set the rhythm, creating a distinctive and energetic performance. Every step and sound carries cultural significance, often linked to ancient rituals and mythological narratives. Thanks to our partner Sasani School of Dance. Register Now!
