Join Suzanne Hamilton-formerly of Edinburgh College of Art-to look at the historical context of visual and concrete poetry with items from the Scottish Poetry Library collection including examples associated with the realm of 20th century word and image. We will consider a range of subjects that include Typewriter Art and Concrete Poetry with a selection of rare artist’s publications and artworks by luminaries such as 
Eugen Gomringer
, Edwin Morgan
 and 
Ian Hamilton Findlay
.
This will be an intimate, workshop style talk and handling session and, as such, tickets are limited.

I recently visited Edinburgh Castle with my family, and it was an amazing experience. Set high on Castle Rock, the panoramic views over the city are breathtaking. The castle is packed with history &ndash; from the Crown Jewels and Stone of Destiny to the magnificent Great Hall. The exhibits are well-presented, and the audio guide brings the stories to life. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. While it was busy, there&rsquo;s plenty of space to explore and capture great photos. Walking through the castle grounds felt like stepping back in time, and the mix of history, architecture, and scenery is truly impressive. A must-see in Edinburgh &ndash; perfect for families, history lovers, and anyone who wants to experience Scotland&rsquo;s heritage up close. We left with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for this iconic landmark.

Edinburgh Old City, England, is surrounded by medieval stone buildings and beautiful scenery. Edinburgh is not only a financial town, but also a palace of art. Walking on the street, you can see entertainers&#39; happy performances everywhere. This is the origin of traditional Scottish dress skirts, the blend of art and life makes people linger, it is worth a visit.

Carlton Hill is an iconic Edinburgh attraction known for its neoclassical complex, 360-degree city views and rich cultural activities. The design inspiration is based on the Parthenon in Athens. The Greek-style columns on the top of the mountain are magnificent, like the skeleton of a temple solidified by time, and they quietly guard Edinburgh. &zwnj;
