Trying Together is a peer support group that gives creatives space to reflect on the highs and lows of their month.
Using six open questions we give people the chance to open up on what's on their mind - from demanding clients to looming imposter syndrome, alongside life's everyday stresses.
Hosted by Ophelia and Phoebe this is a safe peer support space where we are all encouraged to share what feels safe and comfortable to do so amongst peers.
Please note, this is a space to talk and listen, but we are not qualified counsellors and if you feel like you need medical help, please contact your GP.
Trying Together operates a safer spaces policy and is free to attend.

Please note: we can only issue refunds requested 72 hours before the event.
This event is suitable for ages 18+. There will be 8 attendees maximum, and the event will feature comfort breaks. During this event, participants will be involved in: whole group discussions.
This event will take place at the GZL space on Albert Road in Govanhill.

You may be asked to wear a mask at this event. 
GZL provides hand sanitizer and KN95 masks for participants. If you would like to attend and request that all other participants wear masks, you can either ask our staff member on the day or email us ahead of time at glasgowzinelibrary@gmail.com and we will ask all who are able to mask to do so. Additionally, we have an air purifier with HEPA filters in the library.

GZL pledges to support 
The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel.
 As part of this pledge we may participate in strikes called in response to the ongoing genocide in Palestine. If this event falls on a strike day and is cancelled, we will work with event leaders to reschedule the event ASAP. Participants will also have the option of receiving an immediate refund for any ticket purchases and travel booked to attend.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

The Kevin Grove Museum of Art, located opposite the main campus of the University of Glasgow, adopts Spanish Baroque. The style of the Victorian red sandstone building is its distinctive feature. The museum contains world-class art works such as Salvador Dali&#39;s representative work &quot;Christ of John the Cross&quot;.

This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

It is said to date back to the famous William Conquest period, built in memory of San Diego, built over hundreds of years, and has been nearly a thousand years. It is the oldest religious building in the whole of Scotland. It is also a must-see for tourism.

George Square

Peggy 

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
