Join the weekly drop-in class "What We Inherit" in Brooklyn, where participants will explore their own legacies inherited from family, society, and the world around them. Delve into the concept of what is considered a gift and what is seen as a burden, and discover how echoes of the past manifest in everyday life. Through engaging group conversations and thought-provoking prompts, attendees will explore various perspectives on this theme. The class will include the reading of captivating poems by renowned poets such as Eugenia Leigh, Sharon Olds, Danez Smith, and Vievee Francis. While sharing your own poems written during the class is encouraged, it is entirely optional. Please note that this drop-in class is not intended for critiquing work; individuals seeking feedback should consider registering for the multi-week workshops.

Very good Bronx Zoo, one of the must-see places in New York. I really like the facilities and garden design here. It is beautiful and friendly to watch. We didn&#39;t see many animals because it was raining.

Bryant Park is adjacent to the New York Public Library. It is named after the American naturalist poet William Cullen Bryant and is a public space covering one block.

In the middle of the park is a large square lawn; on the east side is a statue of Bryant, with his back against the New York Public Library, looking at the tourists in the park; on the west side of the lawn is a fountain; and around it are a circle of tables and chairs for tourists to relax and rest.

Perhaps because it is in a busy city and next to the library, there are quite a lot of tourists in the park, it is very lively and full of life.
