Don't miss the Workshop | Decorative Elements in Clay - Holiday! This exciting event, hosted by Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach, is perfect for anyone interested in learning techniques to embellish ceramics. Led by Studio 5 Resident Kass O'Brien, participants will explore various methods for creating unique and beautiful clay pieces that make for perfect gifts or centerpieces. During the workshop, Kass will teach attendees how to carve and detail using the Sgraffito method, as well as how to make appliques to enhance their work. Additionally, she will provide tips for a successful firing, ensuring that each piece turns out beautifully. Every student will receive a pre-made, pre-fired platter, plate, or bowl to decorate, measuring approximately 10 inches wide. Whether you prefer appliques, carving, or both, Kass will guide you in adding your personal touch to your chosen piece. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, so no prior experience is necessary. It's the perfect opportunity to create stunning holiday gifts or decorations! After the workshop, the embellished piece will be fired and glazed in your chosen color. Attendees will be notified via email when their creations are ready for pickup. With limited spots available, be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible. Don't forget to check out the Arts Warehouse Bar, which will be open for Happy Hour during the event.
