Tuesday 18 + 25 March, 6pm–7.30pm. Young Art Writers is designed for anyone age 18 – 25 with an interest in art and writing, or who would like to be introduced to this area. Over two gallery-based sessions, participants will discuss and experiment with critical writing in response to the current gallery exhibition Better a bare foot than none. This solo exhibition by artist Katarzyna Perlak has been curated by Marysia Więckiewicz-Carroll. Please note there are a very limited number of spaces for this workshop and so we ask that participants are fully committed to attending both sessions. Young Art Writers is an ongoing gallery-based workshop series at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios. It explores different aspects of writing in relation to visual art through workshops led by writers, artists and curators with a writing practice. The workshops adopt a shared learning and explorative approach as opposed to taught or critique-based sessions. No experience is necessary and all levels of writing ability are welcome. Marysia Więckiewicz-Carroll is guest curator at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios for Katarzyna Perlak's exhibition Better a bare foot than none. She has organised and curated numerous exhibitions and projects in Ireland and abroad, independently and in partnership with various institutions and local authorities, including the Hugh Lane Gallery and Irish Museum of Modern Art. She was a co-editor of Paper Visual Art, and the founding director of Berlin Opticians Gallery. This exhibition is supported by an Arts Council Project Award. Dublin Castle has a long royal history and the attractions are worth visiting. The ticket price is only 8 euros (6 euros for those over 60 years old). However, the ticket price on Ctrip for those over 60 years old is 160 yuan, which is 3 times the price on site. It is too expensive!!! It has affected my high trust and good impression of Ctrip!!!

Ireland belongs to the temperate marine climate zone, so the vegetation coverage rate is very high. This green color, from south to north, from east to west, covers the island country, clear and transparent like emerald. The green of Ireland is fascinating, but the weather in Ireland is very depressing. When I came here, everyone said a joke that it rains 300 days out of 365 days in Ireland. One of my colleagues once talked about the weather in Ireland with a taxi driver. The driver said that God gave Ireland such a beautiful coat, and if he gave it good weather, it would be envied by the world.
