Chen Cihong&#39;s former residence, considered the premier overseas Chinese residence in Lingnan and a miniature Forbidden City of Lingnan, is incredibly worthwhile at only 58 yuan. It also includes a free Yingge dance performance and a free tour of Qianmei Ancient Village in Chenghai District, where the residence is located. We even visited a villager&#39;s home; the villagers were incredibly friendly. The guavas, small golden apples, and olives sold in front of the residence were very fresh and reasonably priced. A trip to Chen Cihong&#39;s former residence was definitely worthwhile.

Perfect for families, the museum offers a chance to share historical insights through exhibits. The museum comprises four major exhibition halls: the Chaoshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall, the Chaoshan Overseas Chinese Museum, the Shantou Art Museum, and the Shantou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall showcases numerous intangible cultural heritage items, including Chaoshan embroidery and woodcarving. The Overseas Chinese Museum showcases the history of Chaoshan overseas Chinese through cultural relics. The Art Museum houses calligraphy by Chaoshan painters, including the masterpiece &quot;Scenery of Chaoshan.&quot; The Urban Planning Exhibition Hall showcases Shantou&#39;s planning and development.
