The Songhua River is the largest tributary of the Heilongjiang River and the main artery of the Northeast region. It is mainly composed of two tributaries. At present, according to the latest planning of the municipal government, the Songhua River is used as the boundary to divide it into Jiangnan and Jiangbei (note that it is not the Jiangnan in Jiangsu and Zhejiang). Relying on the Songhua River, the main attractions in Jiangnan are Central Street, Zhaolin Park, Flood Control Memorial Tower, and Cross-River Cableway.
