Homestays in Basilicata, Italy

Let me talk about the price first. I personally feel that the price/performance ratio is quite high. The price of one night is about four or five hundred and breakfast. This is a family hotel with about 5 rooms in it. Each room has a bed, a toilet, and a shower in the toilet. The room is very clean. Check-in needs to be checked in before 9 pm, call the merchant in advance, and check out needs to be refunded before 10 am. The proprietress is very good, and she helped me to make an appointment for a taxi when I was about to leave. You can give a five-star praise!

A small charming place with very friendly hosts. The room was clean and bathroom was modern. There’s a breathtaking view of the Sassi just a couple of steps away from the place. The hosts were helpful in suggesting possible parking areas. Do note that the parking is some distance away so be prepared if you are coming with heavy bags.

The hotel room is very beautiful and spacious, very much like the design of this cave! Staff service is very good, location is very good, quiet in the middle of the Wangzhong

Very comfortable stay in Matera - 10min walking till historical center, easy communication through WhatsApp, Nicolas is very kind and friendly host. Room is worm and clean, breakfast with coffee, crisps, jams, croissants, yogurts. Reasonable price. I definitely recommend.

Really friendly location, view and room condition are all the best. The staff are so generous and the breakfast is delicious. If you take the shuttle to Nicholletti private parking lot, you will drop it right in front of the hotel. It's 10 euros. The parking lot is open around 7 a.m., so please refer to those who check out early.

Nice hotel. But if you have luggage’s it’s a nightmare to go there. The tenant is quite harassing concerning your hour of check in check out and time of breakfast. If you are vacationing be prepared to answer questions and be on schedule which is not very relaxing

Matera is an amazing place to visit and staying at the Monaco Bianco made it even more special! Alessandro was incredibly helpful and welcoming - the perfect manager for this property. I shall happily recommend this to anyone else I know travelling to Matera.

Fantastic property inside a Sasso Caveoso cave dwelling. Clean and welcoming, and right in the heart of the Sasso Caveoso! Ideal for visiting Matera from a central location. Perfect and punctual welcome. Highly recommended!
