Environment: The environment is quite good. Stepping out from the first floor, you're greeted by a mountain view, perfect for quietly relaxing. The common area on the first floor is also great, which is definitely a plus. Cleanliness: Very poor. The bathroom cleanliness is subpar. If you're particular about hygiene, be aware. Also, having mixed-gender occupants on the same floor sharing a bathroom is quite inconvenient. Hostels I've stayed in before at least had bathrooms that weren't so mini and generally this unhygienic. Room: It's alright. There's a faint woody scent. The bed curtains seem quite old, as most of the hooks have fallen off. Perhaps booking a private room (double bed) would be better. Service: Very frustrating. I arrived quite early, and the beds weren't fully booked, but I was assigned the most inconvenient, hardest-to-climb bed in the corner. I then had to go up and down five flights of stairs twice to change it. Overall, it's just so-so.

Really happy with this stay ! The staff spoke very good English and were super welcoming. They propose multiple bookings for typical Guilin/Guangxi attractions such as the 4-star or 3-star cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo or a day trip to the Longji Rice Terraces (350yuan). They also propose to eat dinner together at a restaurant (60yuan) which sets a very welcoming space for guests to interact. Room was clean, bathroom was shared with multiple rooms, you can rent a bath towel for 10yuan. They have cats and one dog.

The hostel is just as described in the previous positive reviews. It is comfortable, clean, and well priced. The location is great, with a beautiful park and river nearby. I really enjoyed walking there and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for money.

The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get to all the city's attractions. It's a quiet oasis despite being in a bustling area, and the place is kept incredibly clean and tidy every day – highly, highly recommend! You don't have to worry at all if you're traveling solo; most guests are independent travelers, so it's easy to find someone to explore with. As they say, you find your friends on the road here, haha! Many people come here based on recommendations from friends, so if you're reading this, just book it! I'll definitely be recommending this place to my good friends too. Lao Huang offers some unique outdoor activities, and before you know it, everyone gets to know each other really well. The atmosphere is amazing, and unforgettable youthful memories are made here. In just two short days, I truly felt the beauty of a community, if you know what I mean. Everyone promised to come back. Very friendly hosts, very convenient location directly next to the railway shuttle bus, great price and everything. The hostel offers group activities too and has community spaces. The rooms aren't perfect as there is no warm water in the ensuite bathrooms (you have to go upstairs to other rooms). There are lockers though (you have to bring your own lock) so it is definetly a great place to stay for a few nights

The first time I came to Liuzhou, my experience in this capsule hotel was great, the service attitude was very considerate, the customer service sister was enthusiastic, and I received a phone call before I got off the high-speed train, and I would kindly tell you how to take transportation to the capsule hotel from the high-speed train station, and add wechat to make travel suggestions. The hardware in the store is good and the rest is very good, the overall feeling of staying is great, the service attitude is excellent, the bed is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the feeling of home is very good. Convenient transportation, Qingyun Market, five-star Pedestrian Street, Liuzhou Museum are very close, easy to travel. Recommended

The boss is warm and generous. Listen to radio gymnastics early in the morning near the school.

Honestly, I was quite disappointed. Based on the photos, the common area looks great: bright, welcoming, with what seems to be a nice social space and a beautiful bar. In reality, when you arrive, you realize that this is just the reception, and it doesn’t look the same at all. It feels like the photos were heavily edited or filtered. There is no bar on the right side as shown; instead, there was a guy sitting at the reception with all his personal belongings, watching TV. There are no bar chairs, no real common space, and no area designed to meet people, which is one of the main reasons for staying in a hostel. I was traveling solo, and I ended up paying more than I would have paid in another hotel, for a lower-quality room and with no pleasant common space or bar at all. On top of that, a guy from the reception entered my room without warning, without knocking, and woke me up during the morning. He was lost and thought I was supposed to check out that day, which was incorrect. He didn’t apologize or warn me before entering. There was no proper heating or air conditioning. Either it was not available or it was turned off to save energy or money, but the room was very cold. My room had no window, and most of the rooms don’t have windows either. Overall, for the price, I was really disappointed.

The suite is very big. The girls' room has a private bathroom, while the boys use the public bathroom, which is quite convenient. There is a small balcony, and the bed is equipped with curtains. There are also slippers on the shoe rack. It's quite novel when I stayed here for the first time. I didn't know there were such places before. I always stayed in hotels. This kind of place is low-priced and has a very high cost-effectiveness. It's just that I'm a girl, and I was a little scared when I saw the boys at first, but I got used to it after staying here for one night. Boys and girls have different bedrooms, but they are in the same suite. The overall environment is very good.

This hostel deserves five stars! The location is fantastic – right outside the high-speed rail station, making it incredibly convenient to get to attractions and business districts. It's not in the bustling city center, so it's very quiet. The common areas are clean and tidy, with separate sections for male and female guests. The public space is large, and the decor is cozy and stylish. It's super comfortable for chatting with friends or reading in the evening. Plus, there are adorable cats! Playing with them was so much fun. The owner and staff are warm and thoughtful. After a hike, I was running late to pick up my luggage from storage and head to the high-speed rail station, so I just rested on the sofa. The owner even brought me a blanket, saying I could lie down and cover up to avoid catching a cold since I was traveling. That was so heartwarming! The bunk beds are comfy, the mattresses are just right (not too hard, not too soft), and the blankets are clean and odor-free. The soundproofing is also good, ensuring a great night's sleep. The washrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, and hot water is available 24/7, which is perfectly sufficient! It offers amazing value for money, and I felt as comfortable as if I were at home. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
