The location was good at Centre of many attractions. Easy to walk around. Many foodie shops to eat. Transport also available nearby, so easy to catch a bus. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The occupants also kept noise level low and not disturbing others. The bedsheets looks clean and no bad smells. The whole room is less with lights maybe purposely, so couldn't see much. And the visibility is low. For the that money you paid, for that location it's recommended. Anyway what you pay, what you get. No worries, no complaints. One thing that I would like to highlight is the stairs that you have to.climb up, especially if you carry a big backpack. It's in 3rd floor. No lifts. Go up and down, for some exercise. Hahaha..... Anyway, thanks. After you go around see the beautiful city, beautiful casinos, you forget everything. Cheers.....

MMs. VSThe front desk named Jose was to be our “kababayan” was so kind, he lets us in earlier than their check-in time happened to be the room was ready but their normal check-in time would be @3pm. Thank you so much “Jose” for your kindness. I would highly recommended this place when it comes to their cleanliness and very accommodating employees. It is a 1 double bed room. The room was big, cleaned and very comfortable. The bathroom is so clean and pretty big. We will definitely come back here. Keep up the good work guys especially to our “kababayan”. Thank you!!!

MM255478****The location is super easy to find, nestled in a residential area with a strong local vibe. The room itself was incredibly spacious and spotless – honestly the biggest room I've ever stayed in during my many trips to Macau, more than enough space for two. The lady at the front desk was lovely; she gave us a heads-up about various things and even suggested some great local spots for food and fun. For authentic local eats, head to the second floor of the nearby Lower Deck Market (下环街市). Even late at night, there are plenty of delicious food stalls downstairs. There's one stall, run by an old lady, that only opens at 6 PM, and her curry powder is absolutely delicious!

GGuest UserWe stayed for two nights. We did know that they only provide disposal towels so we brought our own. What we did not expect was disposable bed sheets (pic). It was very uncomfortable feeling on the skin, made me sweat like crazy probably because of the plastic like fabric. It also ripped during the first night, I expected it to get exchanged when they bring new water (it’s very common to get two water bottles per night) but it didn’t. So we were left with the ripped disposable sheets and the actual blanket came through. That made me think how often that must have happened before: the people start to sweat (macau is warm and kinda humid) into the actual blanket which is probably never cleaned because of the disposable sheets. Next guests the same thing happens, so basically everyone is sleeping under the same blanket. Doesn’t seem very hygienic to me. Also the bed was very hard (even for Asian standards). My partner and I are both under 25 and had back pain the next morning. The whole hotel and also the room was very humid, smelled like cigarettes/cigar and you can’t open any windows, not even partially. Otherwise it does look like the pictures and the rest of the room/bath was clean except for the smell and probably the bed. Also the location is very convenient. If I wanted to visit macau again I would probably get a hotel in Zhuhai (mainland china) which is less expensive and locals told us there is a 24h border control and the whole process only takes about 10min.

HhclingThe Green Tree Inn is super close to the Gongbei Port, just about a 10-minute walk straight from the exit. The hotel environment is comfortable, and the front desk staff, both the lovely ladies and handsome gentlemen, are warm and polite. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and hygienic, and the Wi-Fi connection is smooth. The breakfast offers a great variety too! Right outside the hotel, there are two bus stops, making it convenient to get anywhere. Overall, my stay at the Green Tree Inn was really good.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel was a pleasant surprise! The staff were always smiling and provided meticulous service, from check-in to room service. The room was spacious and bright, with soft, comfortable bedding. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Senado Square and the New Yaohan shopping area, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The hygiene was impeccable, and it was quiet and undisturbed every night. The value for money far exceeds other hotels in the same price range, making it an ideal choice for both business trips and family vacations.

GGuest UserThe room was quite small, but you get what you pay for. The “hotel” is in an old building, you’ll have to walk up 2 floors to reach there, so beware if you have heavy luggage. The check-in lady (Local Cantonese speaking aunty) was nice enough to rush-clean a room for me so I can early check in and even helped me fix the air conditioner remote even when she was having her lunch. The Putonghua speaking staff was so so. The area is filled with restaurants and supermarkets, and also a bus stop is just a 2 minute walk away.

CChuchushimeijingI chose the Hou Kong Hotel this time and was very satisfied. You can take bus 25 from The Venetian to Shui Kang Mei, and the hotel is right across the road. The soundproofing is excellent; with the windows closed, you barely hear a thing. A special thanks to the two front desk staff, Picky and Edie, who were very kind, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude! There are also plenty of dining options around the hotel!

2203782****Traveling with my husband, we took a taxi from Gongbei to Grand Lisboa, then used navigation to walk straight to the hotel. It was quite convenient. The bus stop right outside the hotel is shown in the pictures, making it very easy to get around. If you're not taking a taxi from Gongbei, you can take one of these buses to the 'Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro / Tai Fung' stop (also shown in the pictures). The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from there. I got a lot of useful information from reviews, so I'm also providing detailed info to help everyone plan their trips more easily. The hotel is very clean, providing disposable toothbrushes and slippers, but no disposable bath towels – regular towels are available. Some reviews mentioned poor soundproofing, but I didn't experience that. I occasionally heard a child crying in the morning, but perhaps I just had quiet neighbors. The hotel is very close to major attractions on the peninsula like the Ruins of St. Paul's and St. Dominic's Church. There's also SaSa and an M8 duty-free shop next to St. Dominic's Church, so you can shop to your heart's content.

YYoukealinIt's just so-so. The room is not big, the soundproofing is not good, but the hygiene is OK. Facilities: There is air conditioning, water heater and hot water. The hotel is better, after all, it costs more than 200 yuan to stay for one night.
