The common area facilities are really great. There's a big, well-equipped kitchen for cooking. They also have several large sofas, board games, coffee, and a small courtyard. You can rent bikes for 300 JPY an hour, and laundry (wash + dry) is 500 JPY. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which is very handy, and it's only about a 10-minute walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. The staff were super friendly and meticulously explained all the rules. However, the mattress in the female dorm was quite thin and soft... my back was pretty sore after sleeping. 😢😢😢 Still, for the price, I think it's perfectly adequate.

Everything was good about this hotel. They serve fresh homemade bread every day — and it's free! The amenities were great, including a stove so we could cook. The only thing I think could be improved is the host’s friendliness. I only got to speak with him during check-in. Every day when we bumped into him, he seemed to avoid speaking with me. It would have been a perfect score if the host had been more friendly and made us feel welcome at the guesthouse.

Extremely friendly owner and staff. My car battery died because I left the lights on without knowing it. The owner and staff helped me to start the car. Also Guyaume made great suggestions that was valuable to my trip. Everything is nice, well maintained just as commented by everyone else. Hands down best place ever visited. Top tier hostel worldwide. Oh and if you want to go to that signature Lawson for photo, stay here. It’s close enough to walk drive bike before sunrise so you get pink Fuji.

I stayed in this hostel for 4 days and 3 nights in Kawaguchiko. The staff are very friendly and the cleanliness is very good. The guests are also very high quality and will take the initiative to keep the facilities clean after use The room has two layers of beds. The sheets, mattresses and pillows are all very clean. And no weird taste There is a socket + USB socket + small cabinet at the bedside (you need to bring your own lock) The kitchen has a microwave, a small oven and a refrigerator No need to worry about cooking In addition, the staff will clean and sort out expired food every day The view from the rooftop is beautiful But the stairs going up are a bit slanted So be careful There are chairs and rocking beds on it, very artistic There are bicycles for rent. The price is cheap and the bikes are not new. It was a little difficult to adjust the chair, but the staff were very helpful and handled it quickly. Reasonable charges The rent is not calculated as a full hour if it is a partial hour. There are also convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. But the nearest one is about 10 minutes walk A bit far from Kawaguchiko Station, 25 minutes away But it is an acceptable distance to push luggage, but it would be more convenient to have a car Overall, the experience is good Recommended for single/group accommodation

Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good.

The house is about 50 years old. Facilities: Perfect, taken care of by the owner 🉐️ in an orderly manner, it is rare. Hygiene: Hygiene is also good, standard Japanese style. Environment: About 2 kilometers away from the station, the boss took the initiative to send me to the station. Service: The boss is a cute and enthusiastic little old man, who looks like Miyazaki.

MM770646****Before checking in, I thought it was a bit pricey, but after staying, I totally get why it's worth the cost. The common area is quite spacious, perfect for guests to eat. The second floor is where the rooms are. As you enter, there are lockers on the left, and the path to the restrooms and showers is also on the left. The right side is solely for sleeping.

GGuest UserThe hotel is tastefully decorated - very comfortable, from the window of the room a stunning view on Fuji. Next to the bus stop there are places where you can eat even after 9:00, which is surprising for such a area! From the downsides - the road to the hotel is laid out of grave, the day before we on the same stone road broke the suitcase, to look for a new in such a area very expensive and uncomfortable, so here it was necessary to carry it in hands, it is very tired, In the house itself there are also many porosh and steps, so travelers with big and heavy bags will be extremely uncomfortable in this hotel, the second time would not stop, only if to go on the light.
