The hotel is right next to a stream and you can hear the gurgling water in the room.
There is a hot spring street within walking distance. There are not many people but it is overall very exquisite and has many interesting shops.
The hotel staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. I like it very much.
The portions of the meals are large and I feel very full~
You can also hear the sound of running water in the hot spring pool, which is very pleasant and I like it very much.
The room is large although a bit older
It was good because I was able to stay with two meals at an affordable price.
It was good because the meal was a style to take what I liked, so I could adjust the amount of food I eat.
I don't know much about the quality of the hot springs, but it was nice to have a wide 々 bathtub, and I could see the green outside and an open-air bath. There was also a sauna!
There were a lot of manga in the manga corner 〜
I was a little worried about the smell of the wind coming out of the air conditioner, probably because the room I stayed in was a room that was not used for a certain period of time, there was a place where dust was slightly piled up.
This is one of my favorite Dormy Inn hotels, boasting a distinct Japanese style. Our last family trip before the pandemic fully broke out was during Chinese New Year in 2020, and we created wonderful memories at the Dormy Inn in Sakaiminato. That's why we chose this hotel again for our return trip to Japan. Both check-in and check-out are entirely self-service via machines. They even allowed us to check in early on the day of arrival, giving me more time to explore Kanazawa Castle. The rooftop hot spring bath is beautifully designed, with an ambiance reminiscent of Kenrokuen Garden. After a relaxing soak, complimentary drinks and ice cream are available, not to mention the late-night ramen that left us with such fond memories from our 2020 visit. With an extensive breakfast selection, everything was just perfect.
A historic ryokan with 1,300 years of history. The service felt much simpler than in the YouTube videos. Still, the food was good. It was so big that it seemed difficult to turn on the heaters in all the indoor spaces, so the hallways and lobby were very cold. There was a lot of snow, so we couldn't go out to the garden. There were many regrets, but the kaiseki in the private room for our team was very impressive. The hot spring water was so-so. If the price was right, I would go again.
I booked four sets of rooms for one night. I didn’t expect the four sets of rooms that had been paid on the program. After arriving at the hotel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount of the four suites, but the hotel waiter’s English level was very poor. I disturbed for an hour in speechlessness. Later, I learned that the payment on the program was originally a deposit. God! For such a simple matter, the hotel waiter clearly told me that the payment you paid on the program was all a deposit. Why do you say that we didn't pay? I was late to the hotel this day, so I was delayed for another hour, and we had no time to enjoy the hotel facilities. I hope that the platform and the hotel will communicate better in the future to avoid this situation. This time it really brought me inconvenience. Except for this hotel, the whole is very good.
First of all, I must say that the hotel staff are polite and friendly, which makes me want to stay here again in the future.
The price is cheap, but the location is relatively remote.
There is something wrong with the management of the hotel and the staff should be re-educated. The four employees at Check-in and Check-out cannot speak English well, so it would be better to use online translation. However, because they were all afraid of communicating with foreigners, they just dodged it without explaining the hotel facilities.
I booked a ”Superior Twin Room (Lake View)” and a ”Standard Triple Room (Lake View)” (I will just book a ”random room type” in the future, and I didn't feel that the room was better after spending more money). They Maybe they wanted to line me up together, so they gave me two triple rooms, but they didn't tell me when I checked in. They only told me two room numbers, and then kept asking us which room would accommodate two people. (This is not important at all. The hotel did not move the extra beds. Why do you ask me this?)
The neighborhood is also very remote, so we might consider booking dinner, but the front desk didn’t explain it when we checked in. At first, we were asked if we wanted Italian or Japanese dinner. After we chose Italian, they told us that Italian only Can accommodate 2 people, Japanese style meal for 3 people. Later, I asked if we could eat together. Then she called again to confirm that we could have Japanese food together. (I guess it’s because the superior twin room can choose Italian meals, but the standard triple room cannot. It may be written on the hotel’s official website, but it is not clearly written on trip.com)
This hotel is more of a leisure hotel. You can play croquet, billiards, tennis, etc., and you can also ride an electric bicycle to the lake for free. Judging from the dinner standards of a hot spring hotel, the Japanese dinner here is below par.
The cleanliness of the room is okay, but there are hairs in almost every sink in the bathhouse, and the cleanliness needs to be improved.
There is also a problem with the management of breakfast. When we walked in to have breakfast, the waiter didn't ask us for our room number, but asked us to ask the front desk. The front desk didn't even ask for the room number, so we went straight in to eat. There is no asking for the room number. This management method only applies to Japanese people. If you want to have breakfast, you can just walk in. No one knows whether the accommodation includes breakfast.
Although it is a lake view room, Chaishan Lagoon will be covered (the total floor is seventh floor, but it is assigned to the fourth floor, the difference is as in the photo), but if you look at the mountain view, it is about the same.
The menu may change every day, but the chicken tempura and croquettes at breakfast were very delicious.
There are two baths in the hotel, one of which is an open-air bath, which was very pleasant.
Many families visit, so I think it's best to go at a different time when children are in the bath, as they are running around and it's difficult to relax.
There is a foot bath and public bath within a five-minute walk, so it was a nice atmosphere in the hot spring town.
I recommend researching nearby restaurants in advance and making a reservation if possible.
It is not my first time to visit the Dormy Inn chain with the onsen available in every hotel. As always, the room is spacious and clean, and the onsen has both indoor and outdoor bath. It is within 2 minutes walk from Kanazawa station with easy access. There are numerous washing machines (free of charge!) and dryers available, so you don’t have to queue for washing machines if you had a long trip and need your clothes to be washed. There is a wall of manga outside the onsen and washing area for killing time. I will definitely continue to choose Dormy Inn if available.
The hotel is quite big and the environment is very quiet. There are special buses to pick up and drop off from the station and hotel door. However, there is a shuttle bus, so it is not a problem. The surrounding environment is quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the most important thing is that the space is much larger than that of the city center. This price is very good, it is highly recommended, the shuttle bus is very punctual.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and was as comfortable as going home. The hot spring water is clean, the water temperature is moderate, and it is not crowded. It is just the day I walked for a day. I asked the front desk clerk to help cancel the appointment with the store in Japanese due to stomach problems, and she was happy to help. The first floor of the hotel is equipped with wine and other drinks for free at dusk every day, and there are many delicious snacks, praise! The room size is slightly smaller, but you can choose your own pillows. I will still consider this hotel when I go to Jinyu.

DDodoandrobinThe hotel is old and the room is clean but not well cleaned especially the corners of the room. The room is old and dull and the toilet smells bad. The balcony is covered with bamboo screen which make hard to see the outside. We can see the balcony is not well cleaned and the rooftop of the building is not well cleaned, too. If they clean the balcony and rooftop it will make a big difference. The fence at the balcony is worn out if they repainted it,it will be very beautiful seeing from the inside. I dont care if the building is old but they should keep it well cleaned and more presentable and im sure people will come again. The food is good and the bathing facilities is also good but its too hot no air at all, i didnt stay long because i cant breath i wish they open the window for fresh air to come. the atmosphere from the window the dried mold of the rooftop and the worn out of the balcony fence should be fix.The place is very quiet and you can really relax. The main entrance and ground floor is renovated and its nice and modern. The service is good too but the clerks are not lively they should be more cheerful.
If the room is not dull and the balcony and rooftop is clean i want to stay again but sorry i wont stay here again.
Thank you for your service and Goodluck.

YYuk WaiThe equipment of this room was very attractive as I saw it in the photos on Trip.com. I saw that some rooms had a thin hot spring basin, so I chose this room. I was so happy that I could soak in the hot spring in the room. How did I know that there was no such equipment when I arrived in the room? After I went to the front desk to find out the situation, after dealing with them for a while, they just said that the information on the Trip.com website was wrong. This was a photo of another room and had nothing to do with their hotel. .
Therefore, I advise everyone who plans to book a hotel on Trip.com not to trust the photos and information on the Trip.com website!
UUkikiYamashiro Onsen, the hot spring fruit is really extraordinary, the whole body is super smooth after soaking in it~ In addition to the hot spring facilities in the room, the hotel also has two large baths, each with an open-air hot spring, which is very comfortable~ Maybe because it is before the Japanese New Year, there are not many people , the employee said that Japan started to have consecutive holidays in a few days, and it was full every day.
The hotel has its own corner, and the environment really has a garden style. The air is very fresh after the rain, which makes people relax. The only drawback is that the taste of the food is average and not amazing. However, when I stayed for two days in a row, I was very considerate and provided a completely different breakfast. Dinner~
GGuest UserClose to the station, but the location is good in a quiet environment. There are sushi restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to worry about eating. There was also a famous pastry.
NNuonuokafeiThis is a historic hot spring family hotel decorated with ancient objects and mountain wildflowers. It was booked at Station B and saw a video of a blogger who felt healed at the hotel. There is almost no public transportation from Kanazawa Station to the hotel and no commercial taxis around. The hotel takes 25 minutes and costs about 250 RMB. There is a warm welcome at the door. As soon as you enter the hotel, you smell a strong musty smell. The room you booked is arranged between bananas. There are two large glass porches at the end of the first floor, which are very bright. There is a simple garden outside. After sitting in the room for a while, the musty smell was too strong. I thought it was because the first floor was damp. I moved to the second floor and the room was much smaller. I turned on the air conditioner and opened the windows to ventilate for a long time, but the musty smell persisted. Many Japanese guests occupied more than 20 rooms, and half of them were occupied. I hope that the dinner was not arranged in the restaurant on the third floor where you can see the stage. It is a small cubicle meal on the first floor. I am very disappointed. The beef is simple and the quality is not good. The breakfast is even worse. This can be said to be the poor quality I have eaten at more than 2,000 yuan per capita. The food is not comparable to Hoshino Kai's, nor is it comparable to Ginsui-sou's restaurant with more than a thousand people. I think the room and facilities are OK, but the strong musty smell prevented me from falling asleep all night. I took out the pajamas I wore now. There is a strong musty smell. I have stayed at Arai Hotel Nishimuraya and other century-old hotels. None of them have a musty smell. This is the most musty place I have ever stayed. I felt comfortable after checking out. There is only one large bath. The hot spring water is very good, brown, smooth and tasteless. The staff service is also good, but the smell is too strong and terrible, which is the biggest complaint when booking a hotel in Kanazawa. Secondly, the old Japanese-style bed-making hotel after Kanazawa Tea House. Goodbye, the place where the beds are piled up does not look very clean. The outstanding one is the Grand Hyatt Sainoi Garden. Do you know how the Jincheng Tower will be tomorrow?
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room.
For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.
FFRANK HThe hotel room smells very strong. When we checked in, we had pre-installed the air purifier and turned on the air conditioner. Not embarrassed to mention a room change. Coupled with being tired and hungry, I hurried to dinner. I thought that the smell would be eliminated soon. When I came back from dinner, I found that the smell was very strong. Even the bath towels were full of smoke, because it was a Japanese-style room and the bed was made for us. Cut off our idea of changing rooms. The service staff is polite and courteous.
The corridors of the hotel are completely windowless, not ventilated and light-tight, and relatively stuffy.
The hotel is surrounded by old houses
No one in the hotel can speak English
There is a long stream behind the hotel
FFengyuezhibianAnother unforgettable hot spring trip!
This time I booked the Bailezhuang Hotel in Tangyong Hot Spring Village in the mountains near Jinyu in advance. One berth and two meals are the classic Japanese hot spring hotel gameplay. The so-called two meals are the dinner on the night of stay and the breakfast on the next day.
From the soup opposite Bailezhuang, I changed from the hotel. It snowed heavily that day, and there was a little more meaning in the snow. The hotel welcoming brother saw the guests coming close, and he quickly ran out to welcome the guests with an umbrella, leaving a good first impression.
After entering the seat, kneel and present welcome drinks and desserts, very thoughtful. At the same time, the extra seafood for dinner - local crabs, should be recommended in the season, so it cost an extra 50,000 yen to take it down. (This should not be a must, regular dinner is included in the room rate)
The room has a private soup (the size of a bathtub), which is said to be semi-open-air in fact indoors. The snow scene gives the room a big bonus, and the window is as pure and white as a painting.
Compared with other hot spring hotels, this public soup is small and located on the second floor. There are two small pools for men and women, one indoor and one outdoor, which is slightly stingy. But fortunately, the number of hotel rooms is small and there are not many guests crowded.
The hotel is also equipped with a recreation room, with billiards, table tennis and moths. The equipment is not bad, it is very good in the package.
