Hotel near Prince Edward and Tai Kok Tsui,Hong Kong
Opened in Nov 2019, E Hotel Hong Kong is located in the Sham Shui Po District of Hong Kong, a district full of human touch and rich history. It is a trendy boutique hotel with nearby must-have food, Toy Street, Cloth Street, and a stroll through the streets. The hotel is just a two-minute walk from MTR Sham Shui Po Station. The excellent location is a great choice for exploring Hong Kong and its surrounding areas.

"Facilities: The facilities are very new. The room comes with an adapter and a mini-fridge, which was great to come back to after a day out. There's also a gym in the building. Service: The service was excellent; they proactively recommended nearby attractions. Environment: It's very close to the MTR station, right out of the Sham Shui Po B2 exit, a straight walk to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, you can use the elevator at exit B, which is very convenient. The top floor has a terrace, and the hotel is quite tall, higher than surrounding buildings, so the view is good."

"On my third night here, I really appreciated how convenient this hotel is. There are tons of food options right downstairs, and the nearest McDonald's is open 24/7, which was perfect for a late-night snack when I was craving a Shogun Burger! The next day, it was super quick to get to Kai Tak for a movie – only two stops away. After the movie, I enjoyed a lovely stroll nearby, it was incredibly relaxing!"

MMeinvbaoplusThe family twin room had two large beds, which was spacious enough for four people and we could open all four suitcases simultaneously. For breakfast, they offered freshly made wontons, Hong Kong-style milk tea, and a good variety of both Western and Chinese options. My kids especially loved the dim sum. We could borrow swimming rings and children's slippers for free from the front desk, which shows great attention to detail.

GGuest UserHotel with perfect location (all the nearby 4 / 5 star chains should be jealous) - direct access access to the airport without the shuttle is the main benefit, but which stuck in the last century, amenity-wise - there's a fax line connector, readily available for the travellers carrying fax machine with them on the trips , but hardly a single USB port, which together with the absence of a single international charger port or adapter in the room makes life of the traveller somewhat miserable. Interior and iron/ironing board add up to nostalgic vibes of the prime HK days. Last time I've stayed here good 12 years ago and nothing seems to change since, despite the mentioned renovation. Another small detail: probably, it's the most expensive room service burger I've tried (and I've tried a lot) - yeah, it's an airport hotel, and customers don't have any options, but should the food combine both airport and hotels surchages, that's the question🤣 (burger was good, btw).

SShafffffyI came here for a conference but brought my mum along for an extended holiday. While the hotel room, room service and cleanliness were all up to expectations I was unhappy about having to wait 2 hours for my room to be ready. I could only enter my room at 5pm. I have stated my preferred room and special requests earlier on via the app so that it would all be ready upon arrival. But to my dismay, they said the room was not ready and I had to wait until 5pm to be able to enter my room. For a 5 star hotel, i had expected more. There was no compensation or whatsoever, i was simply made to wait for 2 whole hours for my room that I have already stated my preferences. I asked if I could leave a feedback so that services can be improved, the receptionist only took down my email, in which they did not reach out to me at all. Please improve in your services. I did appreciate the muslim friendly ammenities such as the prayer mat, Quran, and halal in-room dining. Everything else was great. Just need to improve on the checkins.

GGuest UserI arrived pretty late, around 10:30 PM, to check in. I asked for a late checkout, but they only extended it until noon, when regular checkout is 11 AM. And you can't check in until after 3 PM. The facilities and environment were decent, but the TV remote felt sticky, which was a bit unpleasant. The delivery service I ordered was a joke! It only delivers to Tsing Yi and explicitly states you can't bring luggage larger than a 20-inch carry-on. If it's bigger, you can't get on the car, making the service completely useless. The buffet breakfast was HKD 130 per person, but it was cheaper to buy it on the spot. My room rate on Ctrip was 668, but adding breakfast for two adults brought the total to RMB 1178. Clearly, I was overcharged, and I didn't even get to use the car service. I'm definitely giving Ctrip a bad review!

GGuest UserGiven Hong Kong's sky-high property prices and the crucial role of transportation in the overall travel experience, this hotel's location is its biggest asset, and the main reason I keep coming back. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Hung Hom, Kowloon, with direct access to the MTR Hung Hom Station. From Exit C3 of Hung Hom Station, you can reach the hotel lobby in just 30 meters via a footbridge directly connected to the Metropolis Mall. This means no outdoor walking is required, making it perfect for rainy or scorching hot days, and super easy to navigate with luggage. Right opposite is the Hong Kong Coliseum (the 'Red House'), making it an absolute top choice for concert-goers. You can walk back to the hotel in just two minutes after a show. Hong Kong hotels are generally known for their small rooms, but the硬件 conditions at Harbour Plaza Metropolis are a cut above for its price range (under 1000 HKD). It feels modern and incredibly clean, balancing comfort with practicality. This time, I stayed in a Superior Room, which was spacious enough to comfortably lay out a 28-inch suitcase without feeling cramped. The room layout is well-proportioned, with excellent natural light. High-floor rooms offer stunning panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the city lights, making for an exceptional viewing experience. For mainland tourists, you'll need to bring an adapter. The water pressure is stable, and hot water supply is plentiful, ensuring a comfortable showering experience. The TV is adjustable, and the bedding is clean and soft, with a mattress that's just right – not too firm, not too soft. There's also a mini-fridge and a safe. The hotel has a well-equipped gym that meets the basic fitness needs of short-term travelers. There's also an outdoor swimming pool with a view. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, with stable and smooth connectivity. The hotel doesn't automatically provide disposable toothbrushes or soap, but you can request them from the front desk. I'd recommend bringing your own for convenience. Check-in and check-out processes are efficient and straightforward, with no long queues. You can communicate your needs in advance through the platform, and the staff are patient and responsive. A special shout-out to Candy from the hotel! She is patient, enthusiastic, and attentive. Every time I check in, she understands my needs and quickly fulfills my requests, ensuring I get the room I desire. I truly hope to encounter her every time I stay! Express check-out is available, no room inspection needed. Basic service details: Room cleaning is thorough and meticulous, with daily tidying, linen changes, and replenishment of drinking water and consumables, keeping the room consistently clean and tidy. The front desk staff are multilingual, patient, and detail-oriented. They proactively offer local travel tips, shuttle bus schedules, and shopping district itineraries, helping first-time visitors to Hong Kong settle in quickly. Luggage storage is available 24/7. Soft amenities: The hotel is directly connected to the Metropolis Mall, with convenience stores, local diners, and supermarkets downstairs. This means easy access to dining and shopping, making everyday life incredibly convenient. The standard room rates during off-peak season typically range from 600-1000 HKD per night, but prices may fluctuate during holidays, concerts, or exhibitions.

FFANGZHENG1985Great for all ages, you could spend all day at the hotel without getting bored. Outdoor Pool Area There are multiple outdoor free-form pools, complete with water slides and a shallow area for children. Surrounded by coconut groves and lush greenery, there are plenty of lounge chairs. It’s not crowded, even with many people, and the opening hours are long. Swimming in the evening with the sea breeze is an excellent experience. The pool area provides complimentary towels and children's life vests, and the changing rooms are well-equipped.

MMietaiyouRevisiting Hong Kong Disneyland after fifteen years, I wanted to relive the magical journey with my daughter, but the actual experience was rather disappointing. The biggest upside to Hong Kong Disneyland now is probably just the shorter queues. We stayed at the newest hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge. The public areas have lots of adventure-themed decorations, and the room was spacious. At just over HKD 2,000, the price was acceptable, but the details left a lot to be desired. 1. The hotel is considered part of the park, so prices are the same. A bottle of mineral water costs HKD 32, and a lemon tea is HKD 40. The room doesn't provide complimentary water, only a water dispenser. There are no other places nearby to stock up on supplies. 2. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors are not provided. You have to buy a kit for HKD 40. Even for something you pay for, the quality is poor. Back then, the All-Star Movies Resort used to offer specially designed toothbrushes, but now they're just the cheapest disposable items, worse than those you can grab for free in the lobbies of Japanese budget hotels. 3. The room's blackout curtains were ineffective, with a large gap at the top, allowing light to stream in as early as 7 AM. 4. We couldn't access our room when we tried to check in in the afternoon. Only after playing in the park and returning to the hotel did we realize the room came with some discount vouchers, like for the costume photography. We had already spent thousands, only to receive the HKD 100 voucher that evening. For comparison, Legoland Nagoya provides vouchers to guests during check-in. Other aspects were pretty much the same. Lower-floor rooms of the standard type had very poor views, entirely obstructed by plants. For birthdays, they offer a cake made of towels, but it's very simple. Breakfast was better than expected; while the food in the park is terrible, the hotel breakfast offered freshly made noodles and rice vermicelli, and the steamed dim sum was also very fresh. Overall, it felt like they offered a bit of every service, but all of it was perfunctory and superficial, or designed to encourage more spending. It's a far cry from the experience we had before, and quite disappointing.

GGuest UserOur stay at The Emperor Hotel Causeway Bay in Hong Kong was absolutely fantastic! As soon as my daughter walked in, she said she loved it. I immediately started taking photos and posted on social media about how wonderful and elegant this hotel is. We were on the 29th floor, and the large window offered stunning views of Victoria Harbour. The ceilings are high, and they provided toothbrushes, soap, coffee, and tea. On the second day, we even received a complimentary bottle of mineral water. The front desk also offers free tea, coffee, and newspapers. This hotel completely shattered my preconceptions about Hong Kong accommodation being expensive and small. The Tin Hau MTR station is super convenient for getting around. On our last day, when we stored our luggage, they even gave us two Ferrero Rocher chocolates as we left – so polite and incredibly thoughtful! My daughter and I both agreed that we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hong Kong! Several parents who saw my Hong Kong trip photos have asked me where we stayed, and I've been recommending The Emperor Hotel Causeway Bay without hesitation! You can really see how much we loved this hotel from my photos!
