Quite a good selection on amenities, especially if you like taking baths (different kinds of bath salts)
Many choices on the types of pillows you want, and the room was much bigger than I thought, with a very good view... and I liked the balcony. They also have many snacks to choose from at the lounge to welcome the guests. Very convenient location too. Staff were very friendly and helpful
This was my second stay. Overall, it was clean and the service was excellent.
The hot springs were very relaxing and I enjoyed them.
I would like to stay again.
I highly recommend Toba, a charming and relaxing city boasting both mountains and sea, and located right next to Ise. It's home to renowned Toba Aquarium and Mikimoto Pearl Island, as well as beautiful bays, hot springs, and delicious Ise lobster. Shiojitei and Toba International Hotel are sister properties; Shiojitei offers a traditional Japanese ambiance, while the International Hotel features a modern, ocean-view design. Shiojitei's standout feature is its Mikimoto Pearl Onsen, which leaves your skin feeling wonderfully radiant after a soak. However, the Mikimoto Pearl Onsen is just one of its many charms and doesn't overshadow Shiojitei's exquisite ambiance, superb cuisine, and stunning ocean views. Don't forget to head to the hotel lawn in the evening to experience roasting marshmallows!
The hotel is very big, the rooms are obviously renovated, all facing the sea, the environment is very good, there is a special car from JR to the hotel, which is convenient. The buffet dinner is OK, with many choices. The public hot springs are good.
The hotel is just a few steps from JR Tsu Station, the location is very convenient, and there is also a convenience store downstairs. Free coffee is available in the lobby. There is also free ramen in the evening, free popsicles outside the hot spring, and a cup of peach jelly in the room.
This hotel is the biggest surprise in our trip to Mie Prefecture, bar none! The entire hotel is located near the mountains and the sea. The building is an Italian-style castle. The interior is retro-style but very bright! The room has a balcony, facing the sea and trees, it's time to heal!
I booked a package that included two meals and one hotel stay for two nights. It turned out that the first day's dinner was a French six-course meal, and the second day's dinner was a kaiseki meal. We chose Japanese breakfast for both breakfasts because they were too luxurious and both were as sumptuous as a dinner. I also took a hot spring bath with my daughter in the evening♨️; the hotel’s service was very generous, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly!
I am a girl and I took the bus from Nagoya with my child. Except that it took 7 or 8 minutes to get to the hotel by taking a detour according to Google Maps because I was not familiar with the road when I got off the bus (because I brought a 28-inch + 15-inch suitcase, there were many ups and downs along the way, and it was still quite dangerous and laborious to walk on the road. I suggest that the business put up a guide sign near the get-off point, so that it is safer and faster to take the small road to the hotel), everything else was perfect: the room was super big! The sleep was very comfortable! The hotel is very close to the ski area (the bus station is actually here). The waiter introduced us to a safe and fast route (less than 3 minutes). In addition, the hotel also provides cable car tickets for the ski resort, which is very considerate. I will bring my child here next time!
When I booked, I didn't find too much information about the hotel. I tried to stay and give you some information: I. About the transfer: The hotel can provide free reservation-free hotel shuttle bus. Please see the photo for the specific timetable. The day we arrived was 1 o'clock to the Toba Kintetsu Station, and we had lunch at the sushi restaurant opposite the platform. We strolled around the 3 o'clock shuttle bus to the hotel. The next day, I plan to play the aquarium. I also take the morning bus to the Kintetsu Station (the road will pass through the aquarium, and after communication, I can stop at the entrance to the aquarium) Second, about the room: We booked a triple room (children go to elementary school this year). There is almost no electronic equipment in the room, the door is a very old bullet lock, and even the safe is a key. There is no washing machine in the hotel. The nearest laundry room is about 30 minutes walking distance. I wash my clothes at the hotel. Remember not to hang on the wooden railings of the balcony. 3. About food: The package includes breakfast and dinner. Because of staying for two nights, the hotel is very intimate and has prepared different packages for us for 2 days. The lobster, abalone and beef ingredients are the same, and the production method is different. In addition, the dinner is eaten at the restaurant. If you need to eat in the room and each person has to charge more than 100 RMB, it feels unnecessary. We still choose to eat at the restaurant. Dinner time will be reserved at check-in, there will be two choices of 6 o'clock and 7:30. During the dinner, the waiter will go to your room to make a bed. Fourth, other The hotel has Chinese services, one girl is Chinese, others are only Japanese, and English communication is difficult. The soup is divided into indoor and outdoor. The two places are separate and need to be re-dressed. The indoor soup is a big pool, the outdoor soup has a big pool and a small pool of roses. There are a variety of shampoos at the entrance to the soup for guests to choose from, as well as milk and ice cream, which tastes good. The hotel is mainly Japanese guests and only met two Hong Kong people during the period.
Because I was traveling alone, I booked a single executive suite. The hotel facilities were relatively old and there were basically no services, but the old-fashioned open-air baths and large public baths had the flavor of the Showa period. I must try the bath on the 7th floor to offset the fatigue of the trip. The most gratifying thing was that the hotel breakfast was very good. The sea bream sashimi and rice were very solid, the butter-fried baguettes were also very soft, and the coffee was very delicious. I suggest you try breakfast if you come. The hotel is within walking distance of the surrounding attractions and restaurants. Although the road to the hotel is more than 1 kilometer, the scenery is great and you can reach it leisurely by walking.
An excellent hotel right on the doorstep of the theme park with direct access. The spa facilities are not tattoo friendly unfortunately and the beds are as hard as a rock otherwise this hotel would have been 5 out of 5 for us. The buffet dinner is amazing.

SSmilexiaojiebuaipashanMie Prefecture is a relatively remote and rural place, but Toba, Ise and Shima are still worth visiting.
Todaya Hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just an ordinary local Japanese-style hotel, but it turned out to be very large, with two buildings, a large public bath, an open-air bath, and several free private baths for families. There are quite a few medals at the front desk.
The room size is not large among Japanese-style rooms, but it is more spacious than ordinary modern rooms. Western-style beds are also more comfortable. The dinner was quite rich, with both Japanese and Western flavors, and the freshly roasted beef was delicious. Breakfast is on the top floor of the South Building, facing the sea, with a great view. There are also many dining options.
Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium are nearby.
When you check in, you will see the last name or first name of each room occupant on the welcome board at the hotel entrance. It is quite interesting to find your own name.
GGuest UserI have two feelings about this stay.
1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival.
2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.
GGuest UserAmazing staff - always kind and helpful. Food was wonderful and the best we had in Japan. The menu had around ten courses, each course with multiple small bowls and dips, beautifully arranged and served with love. The fish was very fresh and tasted amazing.
We enjoyed using the onsen every day. Always clean, hot and soothing, they also offer a wide range of shampoo, conditioner and conditioner. No need to bring your own.
The hotel itself (and the town) is a bit old unfortunately and although it is very clean, beds and rugs are older and might smell a bit. Other than that our stay was perfect.
GGuest UserBooked this as a side trip from Osaka to escape the city and have some quiet time.
Set in a tiny village in the middle of a mountainous & forested area alongside a beautiful river with tons of waterfalls, very picturesque and perfect for walking around.
The hotel itself is immaculate with great amenities including large bathing areas.
Food was incredible and service was top-notch with staff that were always friendly, helpful and eager to please.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an authentic Japanese-style onsen hotel in a tranquil setting.
CCERENOso very nice hotspring, wilike a falls hotspring,i like the exterior mint choco castle design in the middle of the mountain. The yukata or traditional bathrobe. The delicious japanese food breakfast. The fantastic view of autumn & the famous gozasho ropeway.Spectacular moment because in the top of the mountain by ropeway is a surprising snowy everywhere.Autumn with matching winter vacation by nov.25.unforgetable moments.Anyways, thank you so much trip.com.for a reasonable prize & reccomended nice hotel.More power!!

YYip Chung YuGreat food. Great service. What more to ask. If you going up the rope way. Do put your luggage here and buy ticket here. Cheaper 300 yen compare buy I station. Located beside bus and rope way station.
Food was good and open onsen is fantastic. Got massage for shiatsu for 8000 yen which is super bargain compare to luxury spa outside in Bangkok or sea
GGuest UserIt was a wonderful hotel.
Not only the rooms, but also the spa and dining area. I regret that we couldn't explore everything because it was raining.
The only thing that was disappointing was that there was no staff there to wait for the spa return card or to greet other customers who had come to the spa, but even during those times it was a space where we could spend without feeling irritated.
There were no other issues that were of particular concern.
The spa is also by reservation only, so there were not many people and we were able to relax.
Above all, the room was simply wonderful and the breakfast was even more delicious than I expected, with carefully selected ingredients and seasonings that made the most of the ingredients. The view from the dining area was also amazing, and above all, we could hear the birds chirping and enjoy a wonderful breakfast.
