Arrived at this hotel between 10/11pm. Man on reception appeared friendly, commenting on my partners designer watch and sunglasses. Taken to our room which hadn’t been cleaned, directed to the bar which was closed but we were served by 2 young Lithuanians who chatted with us and gave us a bottle of vodka as a “welcome gift”. We left our luggage at the second room and went along the road to the Butterfly bar for something to eat and some drinks. We returned to hotel a couple of hours later. I got into bed, my partner realised we had left our cigarettes at the Butterfly Bar and went back to get them. What happened after was horrific. I was woken in the early hours with him running into the room in a panic he was covered in blood, bruises and slash marks. He has been beaten up outside of the hotel by the manager, receptionist and another male accusing him of stealing alcohol. His watch, sunglasses and wallet with £500 were taken. He had been held hostage with his trainer laces tied up and ran when he came to consciousness with someone cutting the laces free. He fled our room terrified and distressed. The hotel manager came to the room and told me he had been taken into police custody for assaulting staff which was a lie as there is no record of him being in custody. I was handed his watch and wallet empty of our money. They took me and our unpacked case to a room in a building down the road. I fled there to a car hire company who called the police, meanwhile my partner had been helped by a Greek family. We were both pursued by hotel staff and have photos of us being followed. We have pursued legal action with the help of the consulate. The hotel lied to our travel company and the police saying my partner had beaten me, it was reported by other guests and our room was destroyed. This is categorically untrue, the police confirmed I had not been assaulted and we have videos of problems in our room from the short time we were there that evidenced no damage and we hadn’t even unpacked. We flew home the next day after staying in another hotel far away. My partner had a broken jaw, cracked ribs, damaged knee and severe bruising all over his body. The hotel is ran by opportunistic violent men who all lie with the same story. Between this holiday, replacement hotel for 1 night and flights home it cost us around £3,500 to be injured, traumatised and spend 1 night in Corfu. If you spend time going through reviews you will find others mentioning the aggressive manager and his staff. As with other reviews we fully expect a sarcastic reply full of lies! Avoid this hotel at all costs, irrespective of what happened to us it is lucky if it warrants 2 stars due to the condition of the hotel and the facilities. We are pursuing a legal claim and will be going to the media, if anyone else has had an experience similar please message me on here.

We came back from our trip in Corfu and Porto demo hotel one week ago. The memories we have make us to feel nice and we would like to thank the staff of the hotel, because they offered us really nice ten days. The hotel is situated up to a hill, with a wonderful view to the bay of San George. We really recommend the hotel and we hope to have the opportunity to be back.

Perhaps one of the best all inclusive hotels I have visited together with my wife. We were greeted with kindness and a smile at the reception, and the receptionist gave us all the necessary information. The room was amazing!! Large and with all the essentials Our veranda is also large and with an amazing view. Spotlessly clean room, and the cleaning ladies always smiling. The breakfast area and the restaurant are huge and with a unique view. Rich buffet, with Greek recipes and flavors. Finally, the pool bar, in an amazing location and with a great view, swimming pool and cocktails. At a distance of 3 minutes is the famous beach of St. George Thank you very much for the wonderful stay. I highly recommend it to you !!!

Really disappointed with this hotel, facilities no where near as good as described, food was edible, however no great choices for anyone with allergies (we booked this from a previous positive review) staff very friendly, drinks were not great either, the only good thing was the beach 3 minutes down the road & the local tavern, please do your research before booking this hotel!

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at this hotel and would recommend it for a reasonably priced, all-inclusive break. We experienced a problem with noisy neighbours on the first two nights. We had a brief chat with the hotel manager who apologised and immediately moved us to the most beautiful suite with panoramic sea views. We weren't expecting this and it was a wonderful gesture. We loved every moment in this room. The hotel has two pools. We used the higher one with the pool bar. No problems getting sun loungers at all. Beer on tap and the mid-morning snacks were lovely. We found the food pretty good for all-inclusive. They always have a delicious salad selection and a choice of mains. Tasty deserts and ice cream every day. The restaurant is large and airy with wonderful views. The only criticism we had was that the plates were always stone cold so your meal was always cold before you were able to finish it. Fix the plate warmer! Most nights we had entertainment including discos, modern dancers, singers and traditional dancing. The water front was 5 minutes walk away with some nice restaurants if you want a change of scene in the evenings. Will definitely be going back next season.

It didn’t start well - room mis-described by On-the-beach but reception happy to move us to a room with sea view (as booked), although doesn’t get sun until 15:00. You need to get up early to ‘reserve’ a sun bed as v limited. Beach towels available at reception but recommend bring your own too. Beach is a bit sea****y but clean. Chef Giuseppe fab re gluten-free requirement, Food is good albeit a bit ‘school dinner’, lots of it and you won’t go hungry. Chef Giuseppe has been fab re gluten- free requirements -I have brought my own pitta bread & mayo just to be safe. All staff very friendly, a smile works wonders. Was quiet but now becoming more 18/30 - think it may have been advertised as such somewhere. Weather hasn’t helped but rooms are v cold, bring a jumper for breakfast and supper. 4-legged table has 3 legs, sofa slats missing, tv only works if you ask reception to get it tuned, bathroom floods every time you have a shower, practically an open sewer outside hotel drive, a lot of steps. Bring insect repellent and bite cream - a lot of mosquitoes in morning & evening. The hotels really trying to up its game and 2 weeks into the ‘season’ it is making lots of improvements - hand rails on steps, drinks machines installed, really good cleaners and getting damaged/broken items fixed. Basically it doesn’t live up to agents’ pics, and yes take on board these reviews to avoid disappointment, they’re pretty accurate. We hope they can pick themselves up, it could be fantastic!

Room was modern, we were given a room with a pool on the balcony even though we did not pay extra which was a nice surprise. Food was nice & there was new dishes each day so not sure why some reviews mention the food being repetitive, some people just can't be pleased clearly. only complaint would be the lack of sun loungers round the pool, we had to wake up at 6am just to reserve them.

There were NEVER sun beds available by the pool, although reserving is said not to be allowed there we’re even towels left on the overnight. We needed up going to the beach each day we were there and paying for sun beds and drinks even though we had paid for all inclusive at the hotel because there was no room. The food was basic and oily and not a lot of options, same as the drinks. Half the time drinks machine for juice etc had run out and were just dispensing water and glasses weren’t available. It was 30 degrees and Our air-con didn’t work, it was blowing normal air around and the unit outside the door to the room was leaking water all over the floor. we told reception and the lady asked our room number and then said we had it on too low. We started noticing a funny smell and that the floor was always wet and our clothes felt damp. We then found mould all over the room and the bathroom. Furniture had been put in-front of the worst areas to cover it including the wardrobe being placed in-front of a plug socket when the walls were sweating so much water was running into the plug. We again, went to reception and mentioned the air-con and asked to swap rooms. We were told ‘not possible, maybe tomorrow’. They did send someone to fix their air-conditioning however once he had taken a look nothing changed and it was still warm and leaking. We had such an unpleasant time at this hotel and the staff on reception were so unhelpful and rude we left early and paid to rent an apartment on the other side of the island.
