It's an old building that doesn't have an automatic lock, but it's well-cleaned and has a clean feel to it.
Dinner had a wide variety of side dishes and was delicious. The portions weren't huge, but since I'm not a big eater, it was just right.
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and I was more full than I was at dinner.
Lake Towada is about a 30-minute drive away.
Compared to lakeside hotels, it's good value for money.

This hotel is traditional in so many ways - the rooms, futons, tatami mats and rice paper dividing walls - with that being said, it is amazing! We didn’t use the onsen, so I can’t elaborate on that but I’m very satisfied with our hotel, room and food.

It was a large hotel, which was nice.
They offer coffee service in the lounge in the morning, but it would be even better if they offered it in the evening and at night.

We stayed for two nights, and the dinner menu did not overlap, so we were very satisfied. The rooms were also very nice, with a large bath and a room for a family of five. It is a convenient base for visiting various places in Aomori, Akita, and Iwate, so I recommend it. It is also good value for money, so I highly recommend it.
