Great service from staff. Evening dinner and breakfast was not great at all. Had to complain as wasn’t nice and had to leave it some of the food wasn’t fresh was warmed up!!

Absolutely beautiful suite in a lovely hotel. Very clean and spacious. Luxury at a great price. Staff were superb. We are in the hotel restaurant/bar and the food was fantastic.

Food average..smaller menu to a better standard might be better
Did not like sausages at breakfast and baked beans looked like they had been reheated too many times

Excellent for National Trust and similar properties in the locality. Restaurant food was superb, if a little slow coming to the table. Staff willing to help and assist when necessary. My only complaint (and this is why every area didn’t receive 5 *s), the room was cold according to my partner. We hadn’t asked the staff to adjust the room temperature which might have altered my assessment.

Lovely room but little details missed: bulb in side lamp not working/ fab rain shower but needed sorting as spraying water outwards than downwards. Small Tv put too high on wall. Disappointed as when booked it showed restaurant but after booking ( non refundable) I got 4 emails telling me no food available Mon & Tues. we arrived for breakfast at 08.30 but no cups available/ no coffee/no orange juice & tea in pot tasted perfumed… it wasn’t a breakfast black tea.
Bacon over crispy & eggs too well done…these little things make all the difference…..sorry
