As already mentioned, La Chambre is located in a huge house in the middle of a residential area. Unfortunately, the pension is not signposted outside, but the house number is clearly visible and we asked the porter in the inner courtyard. The lift is extremely old and a bit scary but works. The check in/out was a bit strange, since everything was done via Whats app and we never saw anyone except for an Italian-speaking cleaning lady. But it worked well with the many different access codes. The breakfast was very little (croissant and yoghurt), although we had to leave quite quickly, since breakfast was only served from 7:30 am. Parking is only 1 block away in the Ariston garage for 25 euros per night. The windows are extremely noise-permeable! The room was basically ok, but the extra booked balcony is completely pointless, since you can only stand outside because there is no garden furniture or a second armchair in the room. The location is not very practical if you want to explore a lot on foot, as there are what feels like 1000 steps to the old town. However, the metro is very close by.
