Overall nice hotel good location everything is within walking distance or there’s a tram station right behind Only downside is the noise at night as there is a club nearby but if your young like me then it doesn’t really bother you, room is a little small but it’s only a place to sleep however bathroom is very clean and nice. Would stay here again

Easy to find hotel about 20 minutes walk from Central Station well locted at Amstel on the river. Booked in really easy friendly atmosphere had room on 4th floor, lift only went to 3rd, (Beware steep stairs). Room lovely everything you could ask for including 4 channels of English television. Very close to great eating establishments, never found a bad one in Amsterdam and all priced very reasonably. Went back to hotel about 8pm for early night and not long after that the nightclub behind kicks off and goes till about 5am. Boom boom,boom, boom and there's no hiding from it even if the hotel states sound proving as part of the list on included items. Back from my 4 days away drained.

The noise at night from the surrounding clubs and bars is so intrusive it outweighs anything positive about the hotel. 2 nights of no sleep , waste of money ! I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here unless you are planning not to sleep for the duration of your stay

It’s impossible to sleep during night, the loud music from a techno bar goes on nonstop until 5:00am. When asked the concierge what can be done, the only offered solution was the ear buds.

Just spent a few days in Amsterdam and stayed at the Oscar. The hotel was great. Right on a canal in a very active area and within a block from shopping, restaurants, bars etc, The hotel is clean and very well kept. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is about a 30-35 minute (70 Euro Uber) ride from Schiphol airport.
If/when we get back to Amsterdam we will definitely stay at the Hotel Oscar again. I highly recommend it.

Rooms are very small and not good for longer stays. Most staff are helpful and friendly.

This hotel is incredibly noisy. Read all the reviews first - it’s next door to a famous night club that operates most nights of the week until 5 am - regardless of what floor you’re on, you will hear the music/bass.

Coffee is free but the coffee machine is out of order most os the time.

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The unbeatable location made it convenient to access all the places I wanted to visit. The room was not only comfortable but also tastefully decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A truly wonderful stay
