A Hidden Gem in Goa – Exceptional Stay at Amritara Aura Resort We stayed at Amritara Aura Resort from 10th to 14th July 2025 as a group of 10 people, occupying 5 beautifully appointed rooms with private seat-outs. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted by the serene atmosphere, the lush greenery, and the warm hospitality. The rooms are incredibly spacious, neat, and impeccably maintained. The private seat-outs added a peaceful and exclusive touch — perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. The entire resort is full of dense plantation, creating a calm, nature-filled ambiance with very positive vibes. The food deserves a special mention — breakfast and dinner were both extraordinary, with an impressive variety and delicious taste every day. The swimming pool is clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery, adding to the overall relaxing experience. Above all, it was the staff that made our stay truly memorable. Everyone was courteous, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Freshly made and quality food - be it fish ajwaini tikka, tadka daal with desi breads to buffet breakfast spread with eggs of your choice. Kudos to chef Rajesh and Auram restaurant team for looking after us!

We recently spent three nights in a villa with a private pool at this resort, and overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay with a few notable highlights and some areas for improvement. The villa itself was beautiful – spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The private pool was definitely a highlight and made our stay feel extra special. Housekeeping was excellent throughout; the room was spotless, and everything was refreshed daily with care. The breakfast team also stood out for their friendliness and efficiency. Each morning felt like a treat, thanks to the attentive staff and a wide selection of food. Unfortunately, our experience with the guest services and reception staff fell short. The atmosphere at the front desk was cold and impersonal, which contrasted sharply with the warmth we experienced elsewhere in the resort. Most disappointing was our room service experience on the last night: we waited over an hour for our order, made four follow-up calls, and were repeatedly told it was “on the way.” The delay and lack of clear communication were frustrating and not what we expected from a resort of this caliber. In summary, the villa, cleanliness, and breakfast staff were excellent, but improvements are needed in guest services and reception to match the rest of the resort’s quality. With a bit more attention to hospitality at the front desk, this could easily be a five-star experience.

I’m currently staying here on my last two nights in Goa. The hotel aesthetically is beautiful, well maintained garden, pool & the room is lovely. I have Half Board included so I’ve had breakfast & dinner here. The breakfast is okay, the portion sizes are strange, rather than having a little of everything they give you big bowls of each instead which is rather wasteful. Dinner was really disappointing, had the Chicken Kadhai & the chicken was really dry & it just over whelming taste of peppercorn. I’ve just had dinner for the 2nd time & I had the Goan fish curry (probably my 4th since being in Goa) & it just tasted of coconut, nothing else. Really not very nice. The half board was a deal with the room I booked, so I’m just glad I didn’t pay for either of these additionally as not cheap. The redeeming factor for this hotel is 100% the Spa (which is a seperate area) the massage was reasonably priced & just amazing!! So even if you’re not staying here, defo come for the Spa alone it’s totally worth it. (Recommend to call ahead & book yourself in) Overall I feel this hotel lacks a lot of character. Even when I asked where the spa was at the main Reception they pointed to where it was rather than directing me clearly. Room menu & spa treatments you have to access via your phone & scanning via the QR code, so if your someone who likes to switch off & not use your phone it might not be best.
