"I recently hosted a yoga retreat with my group at Amritara Aura Resort & Spa Goa, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly suited for retreats and group stays. The atmosphere, nature, and overall space create a very special and relaxing environment for guests. I would especially like to express my sincere gratitude to the amazing staff for their professionalism and warm hospitality. The team at the restaurant and the reception worked together so smoothly and attentively to support our group. Every request and question we had was handled by Sainath at reception quickly and with genuine care, which made our retreat run effortlessly. A special thank you to Captain Vishva and Anshul, as well as Manager Prasanth, Chef Rohan, Chef Vikas & Chef Asif. Their dedication and kindness made a big difference for our group. The food deserves a special mention — it was absolutely delicious every day. I would like to thank the hotel staff Pabitra, Karan , & Diksheeta for the impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail — it made the room truly pleasant to stay in. Your care creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere from the very first moments. Nalanda Retreat Goa by Mandrem Beach

"The room was basic but large. The small courtyard grounds were nicely kept and lush. The rooms are not serviced each day and you have to ask for toilet roll. I paid around £75 per night so I perhaps expected this in the price. The block was over the main road from the other apartments and restaurant. The resort is also a yoga retreat, therefore it is quiet during the day when the students are in their training etc. The attached restaurant (Chia lounge) has very good food, especially for Vegans and vegetarians. It is a shame that the dishes aren't labelled with allergens/vegan/vegetarian. One of the vegan dishes turned out to have Ghee in it which was very disappointing. The other issue is the beach sellers. It happens wherever you are in Goa, however when sat on the lounger it was constant. And the sellers don't go away when you say no. They just stand there and continue to try and sell there products to you."

"Great hotel: spacious rooms, polite service, large clean pool, quiet around. Delicious and saturated breakfasts, comfortable bed. Recommend!!! ❤️ Detriments: wi-fi catches not in the whole room (in India so everywhere), up to the sea 15 minutes walk (distant). P.S. settlement from 13: 00, expulsion at 11: 00"

"Ambience and rooms all great, but the manager vishnu was rude and they allow smokers to sit and smoke even in restaurant, which is illegal and since wind blows inwards, even non smokers sitting inside is affected. When I complaint to the restaurant manager, Atul I think his name is, says its allowed here in his restaurant as well as challet,. So which means non smokers have no where to sit. I thought Indian rules are strict about this matter. That manager cud care less. I think the junior staff and the resort is beautiful and nice. But the managers seem to be arrogant, mis- managing the property. Ruins the whole goodness of the space. I have the vedeo proof too."
