The hotel is located in the high-end residential area and embassy area of Ankara. There are many good restaurants and cafes around. The hotel facilities are also very good.
Facilities: fully equipped gym, swimming pool. Highly recommended

I had actually booked in Sheraton Ankara and as they had constructions going on , they had upgraded us to the attached hotel , Lugal . And truly what a wonderful hotel ! I would give them 6 stars if I could . Extremely clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff either at reception or other parts . Food quality was excellent and service was good . Location is excellent and the view of wonderful set of houses with old architecture, took me to old good memories of my childhood home , so relaxing and delightful. Though it is near city centre, it is very quiet and calm area and you can keep the windows open without any extra noise . I always connected happy holidays with the sea view, but this stay in Ankara , changed my mind . I hope I shall visit the beautiful, clean Ankara again and stay in this hotel again . Thank you all the staff .

It was a dreadful experience... The bathroom and the linen were both unclean. Sleeping in a dirty bed is incredibly unpleasant! Following that, there's no longer any confidence in the cleanliness of the food served. The staff is friendly and kind; however, I definitely do not recommend going here.

I switched from the Sheraton next door to this real luxury hotel for a few bucks more. Worth it! As a Lifetime Titanium Elite member, I was delighted to be upgraded to an executive suite. The hotel is connected to the Sheraton. The only hitch is that one no longer gets access to the Sheraton Club Lounge. My whining about it resulted in getting a carafe of white liquid being sent to my room. Awesome! The staff is very professional and pleasant. Started with the front desk lady Icyma (sp?) and continued with the concierge, butler, breakfast staff etc. The complimentary valet parking was a big plus. Recommendation: exceptional.

My recent hotel experiences in Ankara all proved to be very negative despite all being famous hotels. Therefore, I had doubts about Lugal as well when my assistant recommended this hotel for my business trip. But though I stayed only 1 night, my experience was perfect. I stayed in a spacious and very comfortable room where all amenities I might need were available. The check-in process, not in a conventional reception area though, was very swift too. This hotel made me feel special from the moment I entered it though they had not offered anything different than the rest but the overall feeling was very satisfactory. Lugal will be the hotel I will choose every time I go to Ankara as long as they preserve this level of service.

Once again, the Lugal staff has exceeded my expectations. Upon my arrival the night manager ensured a rapid and professional checkin. She also organised my dry cleaning pickup, and luggage delivery to my room. She was also able to organise my club lounge access to the Sheraton. Altogether, outstanding! When it comes to the room, it is large, clean and comfortable.

I have been to this hotel many times before, actually it’s the hotel of my choice in Anakara for every visit wether it’s business or pleasure. The property is well located and very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I specifically wanted to mention the concierge Ms.Yağmur she’s my favourite so far! She’s professional, friendly and very helpful. I have dealt with other concierges however she always makes my check- in and stays very enjoyable.
