Breakfast was sparse, the vegetables were poor quality, and there was a lack of fruit, juices, or desserts. When asked why, the manager, who doesn't speak English and used an employee as a translator, couldn't find a rational explanation."

"This is the place my mother and I chose to stay at the beginning of October. We went to try it out and actually see if we liked it. It didn't meet our expectations at all. The hotel is located opposite Kocatepe Mosque. There is no parking. You can park on the street if you find a free spot, or there is a paid parking lot nearby. They don't have a place for breakfast; if you want breakfast, they bring it to your room. According to the contract, you have to collect and dispose of your own trash; otherwise, if I remember correctly, there is a penalty of **100 TL. The floors were clean. There is an elevator. We signed the rental contract at check-in. When my mother asked for the room key to use the bathroom, they said it would be problematic to give the key without receiving payment. My mother was able to go upstairs while I was paying. The room was as shown in the pictures. There was a shampoo bottle; it's unclear who it belonged to or what happened to it. There was no liquid soap; in our room, there was a shower gel bottle instead of soap. In the room they showed us later, it was in a plastic bottle. There was nowhere to put toilet paper or hang towels in the bathroom. These wouldn't have been a problem for us, but there were ashes and hair on the sofa cover. The walls are very thin; we can hear all kinds of sounds. The profile of people coming and going from the hotel also didn't inspire much confidence. Therefore, we wanted to check out that night. I spoke with Mr. Hamdi at the reception. He offered to move us to another room. He was understanding and said he would take care of it. When I saw hair on our bed again, I spoke with Mr. Hamdi again. He called me to the reception to get new bed linens, gave them to me, and at 11:30 pm we put the new sheets on top of our dirty ones. After spending that night sleeping in the clothes we arrived in, our breakfast, which we requested at 8 am, arrived at 9 am after two phone calls. The tea came in old water glasses and on trays from a burger company whose origin we couldn't understand. In the morning, I told a woman who said she was the head of reception, but I didn't know her name, about my complaints and requested a refund for the days we didn't stay. The woman said it was impossible for the room to be dirty, that it was cleaned every day, and that the sheets were washed. When I showed her a photo of the sheets, she replied, "But they were washed, they weren't shaken out, so some things stuck to them remained." "This isn't a hotel, you should think of it as an apartment; don't expect hotel comfort," they said. They stated that a refund wasn't possible because they couldn't relist the room. So we spent the rest of our days at another hotel. It's clear the hotel has shortcomings. You might not expect hotel comfort, but I think everyone expects to sleep in clean sheets, at least. As someone who has visited 19 countries, countless cities, traveled through three-quarters of Türkiye, and stayed in countless hotels, here are my suggestions for the hotel: 1- If the linens need to be shaken to remove any hair, they should be shaken. 2- If they could at least bring the tea in a small thermos, it would be better to drink it hot. 3- The tea presentation done with a simple metal tray is unappealing."
