The Ash

I booked this hotel to do a day trip to Antwerp. The location is within walking distance of Antwerp's tourist center and central station (I walk quite a bit, so it's about 30 minutes on foot...) and it was also good that it was close to the bus stop of the express bus I was using! So I was able to use the luggage storage service to make sightseeing lighter. I checked in at night, but the entrance was locked and they had to do the automatic check-in? machine. It was a little high for me, who is 160 cm tall, and I had to enter my passport information on a large screen because it didn't work. Also, please be aware that the room number and bed number displayed at the end disappear quickly. However, the entrance to the bar attached to the hotel is on the left, and there were people asking the counter staff to check in from there... (But maybe I'm just clumsy...) The toilets and shower rooms were clean, but there was no bath mat provided, so it was flooded after someone took a shower. Also, there were no amenities such as towels, slippers, and shampoo, so I think it's better to bring your own. I was able to connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi without any problems, and many people were using the kitchen and tables on the ground floor, so I think it would be easy to cook your own meals. (I didn't have time to use them.) I think the lockers in the rooms were in a style where you had to buy a key at the front desk. They may not have been paid for, but I couldn't use them as they were.
