For several months we had planned a three night mini break to this Hotel in Spain and had travelled all the way from the UK for what we had hoped Would be a special experience. An opportunity for us to have a restful break with one another. All details had been planned out as best as possible remotely. On arrival at the airport, there was only one taxi waiting for us arranged by the hotel instead of a minibus. This led to half an hour of stress whilst tired and with language challenges trying to organise everything upon landing and the group arriving delayed and separately from one another. The hotel just charged us for one taxi as a result of their error and inconvenience since after-all, we had booked just one vehicle. The hotel itself is remote and as peaceful as you would hope for a relaxing break. There are a collection of historical buildings, many that have kept the architecture and style as they would have had many years ago and this gave to the character of the establishment. The arrival was basic and efficient from reception. There is only one restaurant on site. It has no ambience, so we only dined here for one evening. The menu was limited and it didn’t open until late. There is no hotel bar. The rooms are small and basic with mahogany wood style decoration so quite dark. The bathroom is dated and in need of decoration. The facilities are limited, so I would say basic with no frills at all. The air conditioning is quite noisy and not very efficient. We loved the spa itself a 7 min walk from the hotel through the complex. Everyone walks around in dressing gowns and slippers in the day. We were told on arrival by reception that these would not be changed during our stay. Lovely extensive outdoor pool area with various zones with jets and bubbles – quieter in the mornings and can get busy in the afternoons with families. Top Tip – take your own swim cap or you will need to pay €6 for a cap as caps are compulsory. The indoor circuit was a fun experience, not too busy as the numbers are staggered and this made for a relaxing calmer time. We really enjoyed this. I had a couple of treatments, a facial which was lovely and a full body massage. Top Tip, I wasn’t expecting for my towel to be removed from covering my breasts during the massage whilst laying in my back, you may wish to explain this in advance or wear a top if you don’t want the surprise! We dined and had drinks in a couple of other locations around the complex. The prices were reasonable, and the food was ok, not special. A shame that the all day snack bar by the main pools only did really unhealthy options like pizza. Fresh salads, fruit platters or light wraps might be a nice snack option for a place of wellness. In addition, water fountains should be available all around the complex. I most likely would have rated this stay overall as a three. However, I had a personal item of clothing taken from our room on my last full day and my room mate also had an accessory

I stayed at Termus Hotel at Balneario de Archena for 3 nights in June 2023 with 7 friends. The hotel and food was average, but we were there for the spa which was lovely and the sunshine. Of the four rooms we occupied, guests in two of the rooms experienced items going missing from our rooms. We reported this before our departure, as we wanted to pack and check all areas to make sure they were missing before reporting it. Before we left, two hotel staff members came to my room and asked if they can search the room for my missing item. The search suggested a degree of mistrust, as though we were lying, but I agreed to the search. They couldn't find it, even after also searching my personal case and bags. They didn't find the item, and I was told they would look into this and we could remain in contact to resolve the matter. However, what followed was over two months of unhelpful and unprofessional emails from the hotel, sometimes having to chase for a reply. All we wanted was for the hotel to acknowledge this had happened in their establishment, to tell us how they had look into/dealt with this (more than simply checking how many times our key card had been used!) and to offer compensation so we could replace our items. We had initially agreed not to post negative reviews on TripAdvisor because we expected the hotel to resolve the matter. However, after weeks of frustrating emails and nothing being resolved, we agreed to place reviews on TripAdvisor to warn future guests. When notifying the hotel of this we were then accused of 'blackmail'. My item (a ring) cost £60, and I don't think I'd go through all this trouble to make £60!! It was more about the principle of it rather than any compensation, and what is right and wrong. Items should never go missing from your hotel room, and if they do the hotel should deal with this with the highest professional standards, but sadly that has not been our experience of this hotel and I therefore do not recommend staying here.

Myself and a group of friends stayed at the Termas Hotel at Balneario de Archena in June this year 2023. While we had a thoroughly enjoyable few days at the spa, which is beautifully situated and a great facility, we were shocked to discover the disappearance of a number of items from two of our four rooms. We reported this to the hotel as soon as we realised the items had gone missing (which was shortly before our departure) and were initially encouraged by the action the hotel took at the time. We had expected the hotel to report back to us following their investigation. Sadly, and despite multiple emails asking the hotel to confirm the action that they would take, there was no acknowledgement from the hotel that the items had been taken, and no offer of compensation at all for the items - it seemed as if the view of the hotel was that if they did nothing, we would eventually stop emailing, and go away. Even writing to the Director of Operations asking for assistance in the matter had absolutely no effect at all. This could easily and quickly have been resolved by the hotel simply agreeing to replace the missing items. We did advise the hotel in our final email that we had resisted from posting any feedback of our trip on trip adviser, but as the hotel clearly have no intention of providing any compensation for the items missing, we feel we have no choice but to warn future guests that personal items may not be safe when left in your room. Posting this on Trip Adviser is not ‘blackmail’ as the hotel suggested in their reply to our last email, but simply the only course of action left to us - and a warning to future guests.

We stayed in The Hotel Termus and its a beautiful old historic building, lots of history about all three hotels and the church on sight. Would recommend booking the couples deal direct with the hotel as you got a lot more for your money, avoid the Spa in the morning it's very busy but after mid day it was perfect. We had the Archena massage which was the strangest massage we've had but it was so good! Great communication with Jessica regarding bookings and info. Breakfast was basic but adequate along with evening meal.

We went on the off chance that we could get a massage here. The spa part of the hotel was clean and staff very friendly. We had to buy head caps for the pools and a locker key and padlock which you take away with you. We booked a couples full body massage for 50 minutes use if the outside pool and the Thermal pool All pools were not too busy and a really lovely temperature. Lots of different water pumps to hit different areas of your body. We spent a good couple of hours in and out if the pools then had lunch which was ok...chips were a bit cold. We went for our massage and it felt a bit rushed. When I went outside I looked at the clock and we'd only had 25 minutes. Bit disappointed. However we then had time in the different pools inside which ranged from a pool full of lemons to a hot then cold pool. There are also a steam room and sauna. Total cost for a good 4 hours was £133 for both of us.

Our 3rd stay here when visiting Spain. We went up for 3 nights half board. So relaxing we arranged a late check out to 6pm before we headed back to our apartment. We love this place ❤️ . Spa is excellent, food excellent, chilled evening music and rooms are spot on. Ample parking.

The rooms are on the small side and have no coffee/tea making in the room. I had stayed there a few years ago and things have changed. Break was so-so and dinner had a very limited menu. Also the dinner restaurant didn’t open until 8:00pm. The spa no longer comes with the room you have to pay for a two hour window. It is definitely not a four star property. And they charge you for everything including parking.

This establishment is only interested in making as much money from tourists as possible. They were happy to pocket all of my family holiday money from booking when coronavirus pandemic struck back in 2020. Only giving 3 months to return or lose money even though both governments guidelines meant we were unable to travel. Customer service has been utterly dreadful and polite requests for understanding of the situation have all fallen through. Please bear this in mind if choosing to stay here. Prior to this my family have stayed here over many years without any issues*, but this means nothing to them. Sadly we will not be returning. *Apart from the food on offer, which is not of great quality or service. If you did decide to stay, my advice is to eat in town, there are a couple of lovely tapas bars there.
