Overall it was a great stay at Auckland City hotel.We heard some noises as our room was right in front of a lift but didn't bother us too much. Our room had a partial view of the skytower which was a bonus.the room was spacious as it was an accessible room. The breakfast was really good. I loved Vietnamese noodles very much, super tasty. The croissants were really good as well.

Great location, just two blocks from the Sky Tower. I wouldn't recommend adding the breakfast package (S$38 per adult) as there are much better and more affordable options nearby, even at the coffee shop right outside the hotel.

The room overall was good, and it was nice to have the option to cook for ourselves. The location is excellent, very close to the city center, and just a few minutes from the Sky Tower. The facilities are a bit dated, especially the old-fashioned air conditioning... but it's better than nothing.

This was our third stay at this hotel during our trip. The rooms are a bit small but very clean, and the location is excellent, right near the Sky Tower, making it super convenient for getting around. A special shout-out to the two Chinese-speaking front desk staff who were incredibly patient and thorough in answering all our questions, which greatly helped us with our travel plans.

Avoid this place! The mattress had a persistent foot odor that wouldn't go away. There's no elevator on the first floor, which made carrying luggage a real hassle. Even though the location is good, it's really not worth the trouble.

Well located near the central bus station (convenient for cheap bus airport drop off and pickup). Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are large. Breakfast buffet is fine, eggs well cooked. Bacon also. It’s around 20’ walk to the waterfront downhill. Coming back in foot is fine, or a city bus (2 stops then walk one and a half block). Taxi is around $NZ 25 if your legs are tired. The Brewers’ Cooperative NZ two blocks away has great beers and fish and chips and the Mexico restaurant across from the Sky Tower is delicious and spacious.
