Great, modern hotel in downtown. Easy walking to everything. Rooms were compact but very, very comfortable. Breakfast is a bit pricey but really good!

Tiny dorm style rooms. Fridge that held a bottle of water and wasn't cold. No microwave or hang out space. Gym was pointless, pictures advertised online weren't for Austin location, that's for sure. 15 of 17 floor and you still hear street level noise and early morning construction. I'll never stay at a downtown location again. Hotel is nice but not worth the price.

Enjoyed our stay at the CitizenM. Would stay again on our next visit. Liked the tablet that setup everything in the room. Only thing I would say it would need for improvement is softer beds. They were a bit too firm for me but overall I liked the hotel.

CitizenM will now be one of my preferred accommodations where available. It's chic, and boutique-like. It offers great amenities and its facilities are well used - it makes it feel alive. The rooms are small, but they feature precisely all of the things one requires. The mobile app makes managing my stay easy. Need to add breakfast? Done. Need to arrange for a late check in? Done. Need to change the climate control or setup TV casting? Done. Mood lighting? Done. See my charges and even check out? Done. Fantastic experience. Despite the FAQs featuring a link to parking, I do wish they partnered more directly so that I could get an idea of just how far/convenient parking options are. I ended up parking at Indeed Tower. Empty every evening, imagined if the hotel partnered with them for a discount?

This property is what I consider to be a "themed hotel," and the theme of CitizenM seems to be that of every man's hotel, meant for all citizens. The hotel is very heavy on tech, as a single, dedicated iPad controls almost everything in my room. I paid about $1000 for my three-night stay, and I am not sure the value was there. Granted, my stay overlapped the total solar eclipse in central Texas, and that may have factored into a pricing premium. Be prepared for a small room. My accommodations reminded me of my first-year, solo occupant door room in college. However, the king-sized bed shows the room was meant for two people. It is small even for one. Breakfast is an option (not free), but has a tasty selection of options. There are full-service bars in the lobby and on the roof. Noise from the city can be a problem even on high floors into the early nighttime. Altogether a very acceptable hotel option, but not at the pricing that I assume was affected by the one-time celestial event.

Rooms terribly small ,bathroom and sink etc inefficient with no privacy while sharing. No coffee maker. No place to just sit and relax.

Nice hotel but tiny room I would not stay there again because the room was too small. Bed against wall on 3 sides very difficult for 2 people to get in & out of

Great experience overall. Excellent location right downtown, clean and quiet room. Room was small (as advertised) but very comfortable and had everything that was needed. Comfortable lounge/dining area. Coffee service at the bar was hit and miss, but that's a small complaint overall. Highly recommended, and I would stay here again without hesitation.
