Magnificent views from a home size chalet that make the no alcohol policy not be a problem. The team here do all they can to make your stay memorable. Try the mocktails as they are worth it. Beware if booking spa treatments as only one therapist so not able to do couples at the same time. Gym is amazing and try the yoga as the Thai instructor is great and very accommodating of novices. The resort is very secluded so plan to stay put there.

After a long drive from Kandy, we finally reached the cooler climate of the mountains and we couldn’t have been happier with our hotel selection. Anasa is absolutely stunning. The little chalet was perfect for our family of four. The views from the terrace were stunning, each morning we watched the sunrise with coffee and dreaded the day we would have to leave. Staff are very helpful, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much to ask. The food is very good, the drinks (non alcoholic) were delicious. We looked forward to breakfast in particular each day. The pool and spa are perfect after a long day of sight seeing, make sure to book in for a massage! The best we’ve ever had!

The spa was absolutely superb, better than any other that I have been to. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The chalet was expectional with fabulous views and brilliant amenities. Breakfast was amazing with a wide range of choices, dinner was even better.

AN absolutely amazing place to stay - you are in the middle of a tea plantation and it is beautiful and peaceful. There are only 8 cottages so you really do feel like you have the resort to your self. The cottages are well furnished and I enjoyed my morning tea while watching the sunrise on the balcony every morning. All the staff is excellent but I want to shout out extra excellence to Nathan in the Spa; Chef Paul and his cooking class and Shatheer who took care of me in the dining room. The food is plentiful and delicious. You have a choice of SriLankan and non Sri Lankan meals, I opted for the Sri Lankan meals and they were excellent. The gym has every piece of equipment you could ask for and the yoga studio is massive. They arranged a tour into Ella for me and the driver was great - he took me to all the sites I wanted to see and was so patient as we waited to see the train crossing Nine Arch bridge and even joined me on the hike to Little Adams peak. My only complaint was I had to leave. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Hats off to the staff (Imad, Ranil and absolutely everybody else) who were super friendly, helpful and kind. Great service and there are loads of things to do within the resort. The rooms are clean and the sunrise from the chalet is amazing. Their breakfast is really good as well. However I’d like to comment on the food pricing. I’ve learnt that most guests do not go for the half board/full board option because it only includes a set menu. Therefore the a la carte options could be fairer priced (in line with other expensive hotels) since there also isn’t really an option to get food from outside as the resort is a bit far from Ella.

This place really is worth the long journey up some very winding and unlight roads and we were pleased that we ventured a little away from Ella to find this hotel. We had two villas, both with ‘attics’ with twin beds on the top floor. The villas are faultless. The décor and facilities are excellent and the views, once morning arrived, are sensational. The whole place is a peaceful sanctuary, and we were lucky to have three days of sunshine, so we got to enjoy the swimming pool, putting green and tennis courts. Best of all was the amazing staff, and especially our dedicated dinning room waiter who accommodated my dietary needs without me even asking and provided great service at every meal. The food was great too. We loved our three-day stay here, and hope to be back one day.

This is 10/10 The chalet accommodation is perfect for a family - spacious and well equipped The cuisine is a world class mix of Sri Lankan and Western The service is impeccable - for eg our food server ‘Isfahan’ (sp?) was the amazing at anticipating our sometimes fussy food requests The highlight however is the wellness centre - the best I have ever been in the world - has an amazing gym including an interactive system and computerise ski machine - putting green - half court for bball and volleyball- a squash court - pool and other fun stuff - spa-pool, steam room, sauna, ice bath etc - there is group exercise and yoga Only downside for some will be alcohol free

Nestled in a gorgeous mountain valley with stunning sunrise views, Anasa rewards its guests with a relaxing piece of paradise. Easily capturing that essential Sri Lankan magic. Each of the chalets has a similar view through the valley. And, imagine that the interiors are similar, too, which would mean that the ample interior space and deck provide a great space to just be and soak it all in. Everything is well maintained. And, the restaurant prepares a healthy mix of choices for different palettes. Best of all - the service is extraordinary. Beginning with the warm welcome from Aathif and his attention throughout. Carried through with first class panache, Ishfak, supported by his colleague, Hassan, provides a charmed dining experience. Thanks to all for a wonderful stay.

Anasa Wellness Resort is a little gem in the middle of the mountain. There are 10 modern chalets with each a beatiful view across the mountains and a very comfortable bed. This place is especially great for the food being served! The chef is mr. Ferdinand Paul, a chef with lots of experience that has worked quite some years in the Maldives. His cooking skills out of this world! The food was not a buffet at all, but a set menu which gave quite some options to choose from. And do you have any request to change something in the dish? No problem, the staff will certainly handle it! Specially if it is mr. Shadir, our favorite waiter of our entire trip. He was always kind, had fun stories to tell, but was very professional when he needed to be. There was absolutely nothing that he could not handle. For the rest: The resort is very large and there are lots of activities to do: There is a health club for example with a tennis court, squash court, gym, mini gold court, obstacle course, swimming pool, mountain bikes, you name it! In the gym you can find the personal trainer mr. Rameesh, an ex MMA fighter with vast knowledge of the human body. He hosts a very modern gym and is one of the best and fun trainers I have ever been with! As you have noticed by now, I have already written too much about this resort and there is much more about it. Go and experience it yourself.
