"This is a relatively good hotel in Luoping. I have stayed here twice and both times I had a good experience. "My stay at Hanting was fantastic! I casually mentioned needing extra toiletries during check-in, and the front desk immediately provided them and even thoughtfully added tissues. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. At breakfast, the restaurant staff proactively recommended their signature hot porridge and dim sum, and even asked if I wanted more when their plates were empty. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely choose Hanting again for my next trip! "I can't believe it's 2025, and there are still such wonderful hostels in China: bookstores, music, drinks, courtyards, and incredibly cool owners... a cultural utopia in Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It's a haven of cleanliness, a great location, excellent amenities, and a remarkably quiet environment. I hope Luoping 97 Bookstore Hostel stays open for a hundred years! Right now, I'm at Guiyang Longdongbao Airport T3 Terminal, about to board a Xiamen Airlines flight back to Nanjing. Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan are a hub of delicious food and a gathering place for all kinds of culinary experts. This isn't my first time here, and it won't be my last. By the way, the hostel owner told me about the Time YHA Hostel in Yongyuan Alley next to the Presidential Palace in Nanjing. That's where my stays at China International Youth Hostels began, the place where a beautiful dream started...
