This was a horrible experience. The hotel looks like it has a good view but that’s about it. The rooms are not as described. There are lizards and all kinds of insects in the room. I found myself having to kill lizard in middle of the night. The seats had blood stains on it. The bathroom is in the open so you will see lizards crawling the walls. restaurant food is overpriced and not enable . Tastes bad. The staff is not friendly. They are rude. There is no one to help with luggage when you checkout. If you try to take grab they will harass you outside saying you cannot use grab drivers to pickup from the hotel. They had me walk all the way to the Main Street to get on my ride because I didn’t use their over priced taxi driver. Terrible experience all around.

We stayed in La Joya Biu Biu Resort for three nights and had a great experience overall. The hotel has excellent facilities and access to a private beach. Breakfast is great, and The View restaurant is excellent, too. Our room didn't have a phone, so we had to walk over to the reception if we had an inquiry. We stayed in the Garden Lodge and definitely recommend using that mosquito net, not so much for mosquitos but for geckos. Make sure to spend at least one evening watching the sunset at the restaurant, the view is hard to beat. Be aware that there is a ban for Grab and other taxi services to park at the hotel, so make sure to time your pickup correctly. Otherwise, the locals will send your car further down the road.

Pros: nice view of the sea from the pool, restaurant. Spa was great. Staff were friendly. Food was good too. I’m Cons: was told by the resort that no Grab nor GoJek service can be used in that area, the “standard” fare for taxi to go to airport is IDR 350,000, but we negotiated it down to 210K. Bathroom is half outdoor, can totally be seen showering from the 2nd storey next to my bungalow, or from the small path if you are tall enough. No privacy. The only rubbish bin is in bathroom, we put some leftover of food in it and next morning the trash is everywhere, some animals or birds may have come to eat. Far from downtown (maybe a good point for others).

Don't worry about this hotel! Be sure to book in advance and book a room with a swimming pool. It's really beautiful. The service and restaurant taste are very good. Be sure to order the BBQ steak, it's super delicious! I still wanted to eat it the last day I left. We stayed for 4 nights and really didn't want to leave

Staying at La Joya Biu Biu Resort was the worst experience of our trip to Bali, bar none. If you are used to staying in hotels in China, there should be a gap here. First of all, the hotel is in the mountains. Fortunately, we chartered a car, and the local tour guide sent us in. It was all gray sandy roads, and it was a small road. There was no street light on the road. The hotel facilities were also primitive (saying primitive is completely to save face for him), but in fact, it was rotten. The front desk staff did a very bad job, and the hotel staff were also very bad. There were mosquitoes, bugs, and cockroaches in the room on the night of check-in. The three of us had already paid another fee for checking in (a total of 1000rmb per night), but we didn’t feel any good service experience. There were many small black spots on the quilt on the bed (it should be dust or something, and it felt grainy). We first told the staff who made the bed that we needed to add two quilts. The staff probably didn’t understand English very well, or didn’t want to pay attention to us at all. He said ok and left directly. After waiting for dozens of minutes, it didn’t come. Later, I called the front desk again, and it was answered three times. The front desk first asked us why we needed to add a quilt when we already had one in the room? We told them that the quilt was dirty, and they didn't even want to give us a second quilt at first. When we came back from the restaurant after dinner, a big cockroach appeared in the room. We communicated with the front desk, and he said he would come right away. In fact, we waited for another 20 minutes, and the cockroach had almost walked around the room... With so many mosquitoes, the hotel only gave a few eye-smoking incense, which was useless... I don't know why there were not even basic mosquito repellent tablets or mosquito repellent liquid. To be honest, I can't complain anymore. I woke up the next day and found a big bug lying on the toilet wall. I can't do anything about it. In the end, the hotel scenery is really good, and the free breakfast is really good, but the living experience is really bad... The weather was great and I was satisfied with the facilities. The food was also good. I think I will come back again next time. It was a comfortable and enjoyable time.

The price/performance ratio is OK, but it lacks some personality atmosphere

Exceeded expectations! This hotel has a fantastic room type! It is probably the only one in Bali! The pool room facing the cliff and sea view is really beautiful! I still remember it to this day! The hotel is like a city in the sky. The view overlooking the entire sea is really beautiful and unique~ Although it is located in a remote location, the food in the hotel is delicious, so there is no need to worry! The room facilities are okay. Although they are a bit ordinary, they are basically enough. There is also a very private beach in the hotel.

The room is super beautiful, but it is very difficult to book a room with a private pool. I finally booked it for one day. The hotel restaurant is also delicious and worth a visit.

Very good resort, offers very beautiful views of the ocean, on the edge of the cliffs of Balangan beach, delicious food with lots of menu variants, unique restaurant & cafe, lots of swimming pools, direct views of the open sea, super friendly service, especially the reception was very helpful to me because I left something behind, thank you, thank you once again, over all good.. I'll have to come back here someday 👍

Private jelly sea beach + first-line cliff sap + infinity swimming pool + private suspended bowl pool, and the breakfast is incredible! Except for the location being a little far away, everything is perfect, but once you live in, you don’t need to go out anymore, everything is there! Breakfast is delicious! !
