Great place. Quiet and peaceful. The whole garden vibe is really serene. Big rooms. Comfy beds. Limited choices but good breakfast. Great staff . Pool was awesome too.

Everything was great. If you choose a room with breakfast included, they provide a Sahur meal. Overall, it's good value for the money.

From the moment we stepped into The Grand Istana Rama, we were treated to an experience that was nothing short of exceptional. The front desk staff greeted us warmly and efficiently handled our check-in, making us feel welcomed right from the start. The room was a felt like it's situated in a lovely garden, stunning housekeeping staff, providing immaculate cleanliness. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the amenities provided were thoughtful and enhanced our stay. Dining at the hotel was a pleasure with a variety of delicious options. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of choices, all fresh and appetizing. The restaurant staff was attentive and courteous, always on hand to ensure our meal was perfect. And the Bar staff were always just a glance away from cocktails to iced coffees; it's a testament to customer service! What truly set The Grand Istana Rama apart was the attention to detail and the genuine care displayed by all staff members. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. The reception was particularly helpful, recommending fantastic local spots and ready to assist whenever we needed it. Overall, our stay at The Grand Istana Rama was outstanding. After multiple trips to the spa because we just couldn't get enough, we left feeling refreshed and pampered, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. - Still among the best hotel in Kuta Beach area. - Located just across the beach and 2 mins walk from the Beachwalk Mall. - Room is spacious. - Room is quiet except that some guests can be very noisy at times. - Less than 30mins from the airport without traffic jam - Bear in mind Nov-Dec-Jan is a wet season but the hotel provides umbrella in the room.

Good location, a lot of trees, plants and koi fish within the hotel area. This is an old hotel and toilet and the shower in our room was not clean enough with mold on the wall. Bath towels were a bit over used type.

Nice place that very close the sea at Kuta Beach. You can walk across a road in front of the hotel and also near the Beachwalk shopping center. If you have a senior person, should ask the staff for the first floor room because the hotel don't have an elevator. .

Third time staying here, love everything about it, great pool, great cocktails, great location

Very nice location near Kuta beach. Shopping mall right next to the hotel. So much to enjoy around. We specially liked the 69 bar they have. Live music every night. Breakfast is good. Overall it was a nice stay.

Great experience! Pool is so clean and nice, as well as rooms. A bit noisy outside until around midnight, specially on the beach and clubs around, but you’re in the center scene of Bali… so totally worth it, we would repeat. The restaurant is great, both with buffets for breakfast and dinner, great cocktails too. Pool zone has a book crossing area 🥰

Second time around, great pool, reasonable price, amazing location right across beach and wonderful service

Our booking was cancelled due to the volcanic eruption and us being stuck at Labuan Bajo longer, so we didn't end up staying here so I cannot write a review about the rooms however I have plenty to stay on their customer service, it's plenty bad and I'm kind of glad we didn't end up staying with them. Firstly they refused to amend the date of our stay as we were stuck at another island due to a volcanic eruption. No refund, no empathy, or tried to work around it with us. Secondly, a friend of mine sent a parcel to this hotel for me to collect during our stay supposedly, however since we didn't end up staying there, we needed the parcel to be sent to the hotel I ended up staying in. They initially confirmed the parcel is still on reception but when we sent a driver to pick it up, the receptionist told the driver that the parcel is no longer there. So the driver was turned away and we still had to pay for the fees. Thirdly, I ended up going there myself with a grab car. The car literally just dropped us off at the gate and left straight away, however we were charged a parking fee which was bull crap as he didn't park at all. He literally just stopped for 5 seconds until we got out of the car and left. This whole experience has made a sour taste about this hotel. I will never set foot in this hotel or recommend it to anyone.

I booked this place because its next to the shopping mall, and close the the beach, distance is walkable, the garden is very big, u can walk n chill inside, dont need to go anywhere else… the hotel is big enough… the hotel also have a bar and live music at night, loved it so much…. The only thing is the breakfast, i dont like it much, only 2-3 items is my taste…
