Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa & Golf Resort

Lovely hotel, Jordan on front desk was brilliant. There are new rooms and old rooms (make sure you get a new room there is no comparison). Afternoon tea was a big let down, don’t waste your money. Staff in here drop and go never to be seen again. The spa was lovely. The hotel should think about getting a few bikes in so guests can cycle around estate.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea of sandwiches, pastries and cakes, in the library. Pure luxury. Mount Wolseley is a delightful setting. I would highly recommend a walk in the magnificent gardens. All with striking distance of south Dublin.

Myself and my husband had a lovely two night stay with dinner included for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived at the hotel the reception is beautiful and open with the most fabulous Wolseley cars parked inside as a nod to their namesake. Something I didn’t actually know about this hotel. We were greeted by a very friendly lady on checkin (I can’t remember her name) she was very friendly and informative when checking us in. We stayed in the lady Alexandra suite which is absolutely stunning. A room/apar**ent you could easily move into. It had so many amenities but my favourite was the separate dressing room space and the large L Shape couch. Beautifully decorated. I g h ave to say a special thanks to Liz and the front desk team for this special upgrade and a beautiful dessert plate to wish us a Happy Anniversary. It meant so much. We had drinks and food on Friday night in the lounge which was very comfortable and the music was fabulous. A nice treat for the beginning of the weekend. We enjoyed a lovely walk which carried around the outskirts of the golf course on Saturday morning. Our dinner in Frederick’s restaurant was delicious. The two waiters that served us Calum and Eoin were very polite, attentive and professional. It was a busy Saturday night which added to the a**osphere and nice to see so many smiling staff members, clearly happy in their job. Breakfast for us was such a treat every morning. A lovely selection and again very attentive and smiling staff. It had been six years since we’ve been away ( impossible to do with two small kids) and we loved every minute of this stay. Thank you sincerely. We will be back again.

The spa was such a treat! The team looked after myself and my friends really well. I would recommend the afternoon tea and day spa package, as it is really good value for money. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a relaxing experience.

We loved our weekend at Mount Wolseley. Lovely room and very clean. When we phoned for bathrobes they arrived in two minutes. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to have great weather and so really enjoyed the woodland walk and the playground for our granddaughter. We would definitely stay here again. PS - Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed in 1 Manor for the weekend The house was just perfect clean bright and cosy, with spacious accommodation, comfy beds and fluffy towels. It had an enclosed little garden and private parking. It was close to all the facilities on offer. The staff were all superb helpful, patient and jolly. We will definitely visit again.

We had an excellent stay in one of the lodges for a family get together. The lodge was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. Staff were extremely helpful. The grounds were pristine and we had a nice leisurely walk on a sunny afternoon. We enjoyed a visit to the fully equipped gymnasium and pool. We will be back for sure.

We recently had a family celebration and stayed in one of the lodges in the grounds of Mount Wolseley. The houses are spacious, very comfortable and really well equipped. We used the spa and pool and managed a few walks - the sun was shining. Lovely not to have to get in to the car for the weekend. Didn't manage to use the golf course, perhaps next time. Thank you to all of the staff who were very welcoming and attentive in an unobtrusive way.
