I parked the rental car YD24 FNG outside the hotel carpark within staying period 10-12 Nov. No Inn staff advised me any charges of parking area while I thought it's free as normal as other hotels. Today I got the rental company advice that it's fined 200 pounds for 2 days. Would you help to discuss hotel to see any way to sort this issue?

We attended a friend's wedding over the weekend, and this hotel served as a very convenient base for us. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was perfect. Overall, it was a good stay. However, the woman at reception didn't seem too pleased to see us, which was a bit confusing given her customer-facing role. A warmer welcome would have made the experience even better.

Went to Scotland and Preston was the perfect half way points. Hotel is not far adjacent to M6 and not far from M65. Plenty of shops around. Breakfast was fantastic, unlike the Holiday inn Crewe which was OK. Room had King size and pull out sofa, ideal for a family of 4 or perhaps 2 couples on a budget

The room was a bit tired. The wallpaper was coming off the wall in places, the bedside lampshades were broken and one of the light fittings was falling off the wall. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the shower/WC was very clean.
