"I stayed at City Studios for one night over the weekend with my partner, and overall it was a good experience for the price. Before we arrived, Leanne had cleaned the studio and it was very clean when we got there. The bedroom was spotless and the whole place felt well looked after. The kitchen area was also spacious and fully equipped, which made the stay comfortable and convenient. One thing that was slightly confusing was the parking. When we arrived, we were told there is additional parking available but it costs £13 for stays over 13 hours. The app is a bit misleading because when you select the option it says “you will be charged when you leave.” My partner and I thought that meant we had already paid for the parking, but it actually only saved the card details rather than completing the payment. Once we realised it hadn’t gone through, we paid for the duration. The staff did mention that we could still get a ticket, so it would be helpful if the app wording was clearer to avoid that confusion. Aside from that, the stay was good value for money. For £60 for one night, the studio was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Overall, I’d recommend it for a short stay."

Located right along from the station makes it very convenient, there are also some local shops nearby too. Lady who greeted me was freindly and prompt although we did not interact much after that. Not much in the rooms nothing in the ways of fans, hairdryers etc but you dont expect it for the price you are paying so not an issue. Overall, very good value for a decent nights sleep so no complaints would stay again."

"well where do I start. this guest house is a gem. first the location down by the river 10 min walk from the railway station. whern you walk in you have a very large kitchen and lounge facing he river. free tea and coffee. next your room mine was on the first floor with side river view. the room was large with a double bed lots of power points a setee table and flat screen tv. the on suite shower room was great . free wifi.in the house. after i had been there about an hour the owners text to ask if everything was ok and did i require anything , which was a very nice touch. the room and house was spotless . overall a wonderful experiance,"

"Hotel was really really bad it smells like dirty dogs soon you walk in there the lift smells the same the hallway was the same and also had blood all over the carpet and you can see footprints in the blood. The room smells really really bad it was dirty the bathroom door you couldn’t close at all the door were you put your keycard in was about to full off you couldn’t lock your door in the inside of your room . I started in many Travelodge but this one was that bad i can still smell the dirty and dog smell. I should of took more photos"

"Booked for one night & due to circumstances ended up checking in on 3 consecutive nights. As a lady solo traveller I felt so safe and completely at ease here. Unfortunately as it wasn’t a planned trip I didn’t have swimming costume with me to make use of their facilities. Parking is lovely & close to hotel. Whole hotel spotless & beds comfiest I’ve ever slept in while travelling. Breakfast, loads of choice & although buffet style all very fresh. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Super the bar served fresh food until late as I was later checking in on all nights. If I’m in the area I would gladly stay here again & happily recommend to other travellers 😊"

"Lovely stay at St Andrews House. Clean, comfortable room with a large bathroom and an excellent high-pressure shower — always available, never an issue. Even though ours was a shared bathroom, the room had its own scented hand-wash bits, a nice touch. Comfortable bed and a good working TV — I even caught the England match. Staff were genuinely kind and accommodating. Breakfast was very good: cooked to order plus non-cooked options, so plenty of choice and great value. Traditional, personal feel rather than a chain.
