We had a really pleasant one-night family stay at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and easy. The hotel’s rock-inspired design gave off a fun and vibrant vibe, but it still felt comfortable and family-friendly.
Our room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a nice view and thoughtful touches for families with kids. Breakfast had a good variety — both local and international options — and everything tasted fresh.
The kids loved the pool and the direct connection to Adventure Waterpark made it super convenient for a short getaway. The hotel’s location near the beach and nearby attractions also made exploring easy.
Overall, it was a short but memorable trip — great hospitality, nice ambiance, and perfect for families looking for a quick break from Singapore. We’ll definitely consider coming back for a longer stay next time!

The are still room for cleanness as the floor is Abit sticky. Overall the food choice is limited for chinese food. The hotel is near the waterpark.

Great place, very convenient to go waterpark,
Just need to take note, even if you turn on do not disturb switch or put the room tags at the door.
The staff will still enter your room to clean your room.
And on my final day, I think a staff left a half eaten yogurt cup in my room.

Stayed here for my son's birthday celebration. Arrived at 11am, registered and inform them regarding the birthdatly and was given one complimentary pass where we can redeem a slice of cake and small gift from the shop. We went straight to the Waterpark and hotel Whatsapp us when the room is ready. Aircond and music was on when we entered the room, and got a little surprise from the housekeeping, a nice birthday wish drawing on the mirror. Parking is free once we register. Breakfast is nice with a variety of selections. Buggy is available to get to the private beach at Westin. Overall it is a recommended stay with good service.

We were mainly there to visit the waterpark and it’s easily accessible from the hotel as there’s an entrance specially for HRH guests. Besides that, we loved the breakfast too! We were also upgraded to the higher floor and the view was beautiful ❤️

Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. We had some hiccups with a staff whose English proficiency isn't good enough.
Clean rooms. We got a free upgrade to higher floor.
Breakfast taste good, but not as much varieties compared to other resorts we been to.
Direct access to Desaru Waterpark from their compound, which is very convenient.
Kids club is for 4-12yo and not complimentary, some outdoor kids activities are complimentary.
Live band 6 nights a week is enjoyable.
There are shuttles available with schedules to certain places. We did not use the service. We took a buggy to the private beach instead.
Town is 6km away.

It was our.first time staying at a Hard Rock property and overall I would say it was a pleasant experience. Staff were very polite and helpful and the room was very comfy. Perhaps one downside was the TV remote control, which was not very responsive. Hence it took a while to keep navigating back to the TV channels.
But overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and looking forward to our next visit. Thank you.
