The staff didn’t inform that the hotel is on renovations. It makes noise during the construction is right upper my room

The welcome drink and snack were delicious，clean and spacious room，staff friendly.Near union mall and central ladprao.

Great location and full sized gym. Staff are accommodating, however currently construction going on so it’s loud during the afternoons. Cafe in the lobby is a nice touch

Had a great stay as usual! Chose this as I was attending a concert at union mall. The new studio rooms are really beautiful, comfortable and hygienic! Though the location of the hotel is a bit further out of the city area, you can always take a grab bike. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Do note there is a deposit of 1k baht and there is a 7-11 right downstairs!! Very convenient

I paid over 1000 baht but put me with the room that other customers pay only 750 baht Should put me in other building that better

Stayed here for a concert. The environment was nice, and the bed in the king room was absolutely massive – felt like four people could sleep in it! Didn't get a chance to check out the pool. They offer luggage storage, and all the staff were really friendly.

Terrible review! Stay away, this place is a complete scam. The entire hotel floor, every single room, was undergoing renovation, and the formaldehyde smell in the rooms was unbearable, far worse than you can imagine. I've stayed in Thai hotels many times, and this is the first time I'm giving a bad review. Thai people are generally very polite, but the staff at this hotel had the worst attitude imaginable. On the first night, I discussed the strong formaldehyde smell with the front desk. I couldn't check out, and they demanded extra money to change rooms. I paid extra and moved, only to find the new room had the same ridiculously strong smell. Fine, I put up with all that. On the third day, at check-out, the front desk asked me to wait five minutes. Then they showed me a photo of a cigarette butt, claiming we had smoked in the room and demanding a 5000 Thai Baht fine. We absolutely did not smoke. I've heard stories before about hotels in Thailand setting up guests with cigarette butts to maliciously deduct the security deposit. I told the front desk I wanted to call the Thai police and demanded they provide evidence of us smoking. A staff member accompanied us to the room. As soon as she entered, she immediately pulled out the toilet paper from the toilet, and with practiced ease, pulled out three cigarette butts from inside. They then said they wouldn't fine us 5000 Baht, and a 3000 Baht deduction from the deposit would suffice. We refused and said we would call the 1155 Thai Tourist Police and demanded they come to the hotel. I used a translator to type and tell them that we were waiting for the police, who would perform fingerprint and DNA tests, and that we would guard the scene in the room to prevent them from removing the cigarette butts. While waiting for the police, the hotel sent a Chinese-speaking staff member who told us they believed us, that we hadn't smoked, and they would refund our deposit. If we hadn't been firm and insisted on waiting for the police, they wouldn't have refunded our deposit. It's truly ridiculous, a clear case of a guilty conscience; they were afraid the police's arrival would have a negative impact on them. If you encounter something like this in the future, just call the police immediately and don't let them get away with their schemes. The hotel staff's attitude is terrible, a bad review, and I strongly advise against staying here! Maliciously falsely accusing guests of smoking to deduct deposits. Looking at other reviews, it's clear this isn't the first time this hotel has pulled this stunt!!!!

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It had great natural light, and the location was very convenient for getting around. Plus, Union Mall is right across the street, which was perfect for attending events and finding places to eat.

I liked it. For the price I paid, it exceeded my expectations. Good breakfast, meat, omelet. Spacious room, bathroom, sofa. Equipped gym.

The front desk staff speaks Chinese, which made communication very easy.

The room was comfortable and also big.. the water pressure also good and able to recover from tiredness after bath.. Also the breakfast provided is good and satisfied. The facility with gym and swimming pool is great and added point for the facilities.

Josh Hotel Bangkok is a charming boutique hotel located in the best part of Ari, right in the heart of one of Bangkok’s coolest neighborhoods. The hotel itself is incredibly Instagrammable – every corner is thoughtfully designed, and you’ll definitely want to take photos to keep as memories. The décor is stylish and playful, giving the whole place a very unique character. The rooms are beautifully decorated as well, with a cozy and modern feel. However, the smallest room type can feel a bit tight, especially if you have a lot of luggage or prefer more space. Access by car is not the most convenient, so it might not be ideal for those who plan to drive around Bangkok. That said, it’s an excellent choice for international travelers, particularly food lovers who want to explore the Ari area and enjoy delicious local eats while staying in a trendy, design-focused hotel.

I feel it's all very good for price. When I have a chance to go visit Bangkok, I'll take advantage of this hotel again.

good location, MRT exit 1 or 2 are just a throw of stone distance away. Nearby restaurants got quite happening live music performances.
