"Clean room, comfortable bed. Small hotel room. Tv was pointless, couldn't login to Netflix or any services. No kettle in the room, fridge is outside your room which was nice. Good location, market across the road and restaurants all around. Parking included was nice."

Dari_savEverything is super! Very nice and pleasant host and host! Very delicious cooking! They had dinner more delicious than the bottom of the restaurant, so bold you can stay there, and also with the best view to the city!
In the room everything is perfectly new, beautiful. I only had a pillow high, but it's individual.
The main thing, when you get to the hotel upstairs, make the right choice of the right turn. There is a pointer. Search it. We looked at it and drove into a deadlock. The local passer had to save us 😅 we were on the big car Kia Sorento. This slightly added difficulties due to narrow visible streets, but in general it is possible to drive.
The young guys met us, parked right at the entrance and helped with the suitcases.

The house was remodeled from an old house, and the decoration materials were very particular, because the male owner was an architect and archaeologist, and they remodeled the old house by themselves. Some relics were even found in the basement. The hostess was very enthusiastic and introduced many nearby attractions.

This is a great hotel located in the middle of old town. It has a parking lot available. The owner of the hotel was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting.
A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!
