Anshun Hotels with Bars

The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking – no complaints there! However, because the bungalows are located on the mountain, we did encounter a few small bugs. When it rained at night, the raindrops hitting the roof above our heads were a bit noisy. The shallow end of the pool isn't really for swimming, as it only comes up to an adult's knees, so it's more suitable for kids. The deep end, on the other hand, is too deep to touch the bottom, which makes it feel unsafe for non-swimmers – a real dilemma! The evening campfire and iced tea experience was truly wonderful. The roasted sweet potatoes, roasted tofu, and roasted chestnuts were all delicious. There was also a live singer until 9 PM, which was very pleasant. The food at the restaurant was also very good, especially the homemade cucumber water and carrot juice, which tasted incredibly pure. This guesthouse is also fantastic for photos – every shot turns out beautifully! Plus, it's right next to Baling Bridge, and Dripingtan Waterfall is just below.

Yaojia Waterfall Village Hotel is located right inside the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The hotel's main entrance is about 150 meters to the right of the sightseeing bus's 'Grand Waterfall Station'. From the 'Grand Waterfall Station', you can catch sightseeing buses to all attractions and the main scenic area entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. For photography enthusiasts, if you wake up early and turn left out of the main entrance, walking along the pedestrian path will lead you to a viewing platform opposite the Grand Waterfall, often called 'God's perspective,' where you can wait for the sunrise. The hotel offers 24-hour 'butler service,' so you can voice any concerns in the butler group chat. The rooms are elegantly designed and fully equipped with amenities. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room, and the self-service breakfast offers a rich variety. We had a distinctive and memorable 'sour soup fish' for dinner. If you're driving, you can ask the butler to register your license plate with the scenic area, allowing your car to enter the scenic area and park in the hotel's parking lot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

After traveling through Guizhou, I stayed in various hotels in Guiyang and other places for a few days, and they were all decent. However, this hotel in Anshun was surprisingly the most hassle-free. Daisy upgraded my room to a Deluxe View King with a large balcony, offering a fantastic view of the mountains in the distance and the lawn below. Waking up in the morning and stretching out on the balcony really energized me. The balcony also had a bathtub, and soaking in hot water in the evening was very relaxing. A huge bonus was the laundry room, equipped with a dryer and laundry detergent. After a sweaty day exploring the sights, I could just throw my clothes in to wash, and they'd be ready to wear the next day. No need to pile them up and take them home, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The front desk was also quick to respond to any requests. All in all, this Anshun hotel provided a comfortable end to my trip. In the evening, I even saw beautiful radiating twilight from the hotel's lawn, which was stunning.

The hotel's location is excellent; turn left outside, and you can catch a tourist bus to various scenic routes. The hotel itself is quite good, with a well-equipped gym and laundry room, and the breakfast is also decent. Five-star praise goes to the hotel's operations manager! We met him when our child was playing in the pool, and he gave us many great tips on how to explore the Big Waterfall and other fun and tasty spots nearby. We followed his advice: in the morning, we went to Tianxingqiao, then did the 'Little Yellow Duck' rafting. Around 4 PM, we visited the Big Waterfall and walked through the Water Curtain Cave. At the exit, we tried Gongding tea. Because rafting took up some time, we had to skip Doupotang, saving it for a night tour next time. Finally, at Visitor Center No. 2, we used our package ticket for the 'Fly Over Huangguoshu' experience. It was a perfect day, and we're very grateful for the suggestions!

To this day, the hotel has not offered a solution. They only called me on a landline to ask if I was feeling better. On the day of check-in, the linens were fine. The next day, when we extended our stay, we asked for a sheet change. Around 10 PM, after getting ready for bed, I rested on the bed for about half an hour and developed a small patch of red bumps. I immediately contacted the front desk. Later, a female duty manager proactively contacted me. She didn't come to inspect the linens but directly asked if I had any requests to make. By 8 AM the next morning, both of my legs were covered in an allergic reaction. I contacted the front desk again, and a male manager came. He didn't proactively offer to move us to a different room. Even after we checked out – because my child also had a fever – we left around 3 PM. Apparently, the hotel's linens are laundered by a third party. As a result, they still haven't provided a solution to this day, saying they need to report it to their superiors. The last duty supervisor who called us just asked if the leg allergy had disappeared. The worst part of this trip was staying at a hotel that carries a five-star brand, only to have issues arise and receive continuous calls without any proposed solutions. I hope everyone avoids this place.

We booked a room with a waterfall view, and to our surprise, the hotel's own waterfall viewing platform was right next to it. After spending the afternoon at Tianxing Bridge, we had dinner right there on the hotel's platform. The view was absolutely priceless; what we ate hardly mattered. We chose this hotel based on many guest reviews, knowing its advantages, but experiencing it firsthand truly saved us from unnecessary detours. The 'God's eye view' of the great waterfall is right outside the hotel's main entrance, to the right. It's less than a kilometer's walk, so there's no need to follow online guides suggesting you walk from Doupotang. If you have a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, head towards the great waterfall from the hotel's VIP通道 (VIP access). Don't buy the downhill elevator ticket, as this entire path is downhill and offers views you'd miss from the elevator. When you see the Water Curtain Cave sign halfway down the mountain, go there first. The exit of Water Curtain Cave leads you across a suspension bridge. If you're early enough and the staff haven't started their shift, you can cross the bridge directly to the bottom of the great waterfall for a front-on view. Once staff are on duty, reverse walking on the bridge is prohibited, so head towards the elevator. This path is flat. Walk to the elevator exit and then go down to the great waterfall. After enjoying the great waterfall, cross the suspension bridge towards the elevator and buy an uphill elevator ticket. If you want to return to the hotel, absolutely do not follow the park signs for the exit; that's the great waterfall visitor center, where you'd catch a bus to other scenic spots.

Room: The room was spacious and we had a very comfortable stay. Cleanliness: Very clean, exceeding expectations. Environment: There are many restaurants nearby, offering a wide range of choices. Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle driver was very attentive. It's very close to the scenic area. The driver told us about safety precautions, and we also asked him about discounts for overnight tickets. Huangguoshu Scenic Area Shuttle Service: The car was very clean, and the staff were very friendly; just let us know in advance.

The inn I found temporarily during the Qingming Festival is located in Yunshan Village, which is very convenient. The owner and his family are very hospitable and they organize concerts in the evening, which is very pleasant. Most of the shops in the village are still under renovation. The place is not big and relatively quiet. You can go directly to Yunjiu Mountain to visit Yunjiu Temple next to it. At this time, you can overlook the rapeseed fields of Yunfeng Tunbu, which is very beautiful. The only thing is that you can't drive to the top of the mountain. You need to walk a mountain road to get in, but it's not far. Overall, it's good. I will come again next time if I have the chance.

The room was upgraded and it is very spacious with a high cost performance ratio! The key point is that the B&B is located in the scenic area. There is also a free shuttle bus to the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area, so you can avoid the surging crowds during the May Day holiday by traveling in the morning and evening. In addition to its good location, the B&B is also beautiful, clean and comfortable, with considerate and in-place service. There is also a small ball pool and a slide in the room for children to play. It is a first-class experience to travel with children~ Five-star praise!

Basic but functional hotel. Room toilet was poorly designed, without any hooks in the shower stall, such that there was a need to step directly into the room after showering. The room itself was comfortable and clean, but the poor design of the toilet caused privacy issues. Breakfast had virtually no variety, even though the noodles cooked on-demand were tasty and of good quality. Hotel staff originally seemed a little cold, but were extremely helpful in handling our baggage. Hotel is a short walk away from the main entrance of the waterfall park, close to many eateries that sell affordable food open at night.
